"Dang, no negative 100 stars option. : ( They just don't care. It's a prerequisite to working there because Lowe's makes their money by talking a good game and then they throw you to the incompetent, busy-with-lunch, don't call you back after you spend 20 mins going over their mistakes and they promise to look into it and call you back, sometimes snotty, under-trained staff, not to mention and delivery and installation teams that cut corners and are flakey and jerk you around. EVERY SINGLE TIME I get an important crucial detail on delivery, timing, cost. etc., it's a LIE. They just don't care. I ordered two rooms of carpet installation. Was told it would all be measured and installed in 2-3 weeks. I've never had carpet installed. Sounded good to me. Then the guy measuring REFUSED to tell me when leaving (and I paid for these) the measurements! What kind of sleazy, unethical scam is this!?? I'll tell you, their measurements came in at 11% higher than Home Depot (which also sent me a quote and a link to schedule installation that same day). After arguing with Jackie for almost an hour (she first claimed that she wasn't allowed to see the measurements - a LIE) then told me what they were, and having the HD quote in hand and offering to send her images of the measurements, she finally admitted Lowes mistake. But before doing so, she tried every trick in the book to justify why their measurements were right: the inaccurate numbers (seams, aligning the carpet, something about extra this that or other). When I told her there would be NO SEAMS because both rooms were less than 12" wide, she said would see what she could do - ONLY because I put up a fight to save myself form a FRAUDULENT $250 overcharge. She then MAGICALLY gets back to me to say that the new square footage was 324, down from 360. Was totally nonchalant about their mistake and even had attitude. Even said was welcome to use HD instead - which I may still do even though I am trying to use up a gift card at Lowes). Then delayed getting my contract together and delayed getting an installation date. The "2-3" weeks actually turned out to be 4-5 weeks. Geesh! I am out of words to describe the new low of sloppy, deceptive customer abuse perpetrated by Jackie and Lowes in general. I also spoke to Amanda. If anyone at Lowes had a brain, they would fire her. Her attitude is to make excuses about the many reasons why YOU could be wrong and they say too bad when you are right. I will NEVER be buying here again. BTW, I had $1800 worth of doors and hardware that I bought initially a month ago (they conveniently forgot to tell me about the volume discount). I am going to return ALL of it. Enjoy the restocking and lost sales, Lowes. The MGMT there has had their head up a dark, stupid place for years now. Frankly, an embarrassment to American business values. Will be cancelling my card and dumping my pro-services account. I have one at HD. Don't give Lowes your money. Don't enable this rip-off, incompetent joke of a business."

"Made a purchase on feb 29th 2024 for 3 appliances with Tammi. Everything was going great and even felt good about my purchase. We never did get an option for install or really any info on when we should expect delivery. A few business days go by and I hear nothing from Lowe's on fairway in Roseville CA about our purchase. I called in and talked to Amanda the manager and she confirmed that the purchase was just sold out and we took the items which was not the case, they should have been delivered. She said she has to roll back footage to make sure we didn't actually take the units. This alone makes someone feel like a thief. Then she says there is literally no washer and dryer sets available til may that we ordered. After basically saying we have the option to wait or cancel with no other remedy. I had to call 3 times before cancelling the order and buying from Costco for cheaper and available march 16th. John was helpful on my last call before I told him to just cancel it. Go team orange or Costco. Maybe your experience was better than mine but damn the customer service on this could have been much better."

"I had a problem with how a purchase was handled so I called to try and get it resolved. Called Lowe’s customer care, was transferred to the customer care team who transferred me to the installation support team. They transferred me to the sales person who informed me there is nothing can be done. I explained I will just return the product as I am within the time frame and was told “that seems like a lot of work”. It’s too bad because Lowe’s had always been the one with great customer service."

"Great store and has anything you need. Customer service was excellent. Bob from electrical answered all my questions and made sure I had exactly what I needed. He made my shopping experience at Lowe's so much easier and enjoyable. Wish all Customer service was like Bob."

"In late December 2021, I purchased a complete kitchen remodel for approximately $25K. It was fraught from the beginning. One of the three salespeople completely flaked out in the middle and one was both misinformed and rude. Finally, I was given a quoted price multiple times and increased my MyLowe's card to cover the $25K. Then, the final price was more, suddenly. I complained multiple times to the store and to Lowe's corporate, and finally they honored the original quote. The next step was "measuring" the kitchen. I measured quite accurately, but the supposed expert who showed up ignored that and ultimately mis-measured. I spent a couple of hours getting it right. He spent 15 minutes, and I had to help him. Then, cabinets started arriving, some of which were damaged (this happens). Then, more and more showed up. The installer was "too busy" to inspect them, so I did. Then, without warning Lowe's corporate, specifically the Western Regional Manager, canceled the contract for the cabinet installation without cause or explanation. I scrambled around and found another installer. During this the appliances showed up. They were supposed to install the fridge, but even this was a struggle. The first set of delivery people wouldn't do it and the fridge was damaged when the second group brought the fridge back. More delays of course. So far, Lowe's owes me about $500 difference, due to their mis-measurement for the cabinets. Next up, countertops and backsplash. They're expecting me to wait a month without a functioning kitchen for their installer to "measure," then another two weeks to do the installation. I'm in the process of finding another installer, repurchasing the material, and basically starting over. Lowe's will be responsible for whatever difference in price, and I've told them, including all the executive's emails I could find on the web, that I'm fine with suing them if they don't pay me. I've closed my credit card account with them, but they keep insisting on putting whatever money they deem to refund back on the closed account. They've lied or mislead me or were misinformed or never bothered to find out throughout the entire process."
