"I visited the ranch in order to celebrate my 28 birthday with friends. It was just a perfect weekend out of the city surrounded of animals and having the chance to pet them while we stayed there. The owner gave us a nice introduction of the place and introduced each animal with their names and behavior. The appartment that we picked to stay was full equipped as well as the rooms were big enough to have our private space. We had a great time in Galena. This place will be my running away from the city when need."

"Our family of 6 had a great time. Wrangler Roger and Sabina were so welcoming and accommodating. Seeing our kids ride the horse and hanging out with all their animals was a great getaway. We were welcomed immediately by Wrangler Roger and his lovely dogs. Kids faces lit right up and are excited to be there. It is right on the Mississippi River and saw some beautiful sunsets as well as a wonderful star-filled sky, which was a first for our kids. The rooms were comfortable and it was nice to have our own kitchen so we didn't have to eat out every meal. Just about a 10 min drive to downtown Galena made it easy to explore the beautiful Main Street and just down the road from Chestnut Mountain where we rode the alpine slide and soaring eagle biplane. Our kids already want to plan our next trip there. Highly recommend staying here!"

"We just got home from our last minute family trip to Galena and I had to immediately write this review. Wrangle Roger and Sabina was able to accommodate our family on short notice and our two girls (7 & 5) had an absolute blast. Wrangler Roger showed them their pigs, chickens, ducks, goats and dogs - best of all they were able to ride their horse Starsky and walk around the mini horse Bullseye all by themselves. They were so hospitable and took the time to teach our girls about their animals - we will definitely be back! It's an absolute must stop for a wonderful private trip with a wonderful view of the Mississippi!"

"Just stayed here for the weekend and we had an amazing time and cannot wait to come back! Wrangler Roger and his wife Sabina were amazing hosts and really take pride in their farm. They made our stay so comfortable and fun. They were amazing and kind with our daughter. Our two year old loved interacting with the farm animals, exploring and riding the pony. We took family walks on the nearby trail, relaxed and husband even did some fishing. The location is very close to downtown Galena for easy access to restaurants, bakeries and shops. We had soo much fun and hope to be back someday!"

"We had the best stay ever! Stayed at Riverview Ranch to ski at Chestnut Mountain (7 minutes away) resort and was pleasantly surprised by everything. Apartment was spacious, kitchen had everything possible you need, same with shower. Windows had amazing views, and we got to enjoy beautiful sunset every night. The best thing about our stay was owners and their animals. The best hosts, accommodating, friendly, went beyond to make us feel comfortable. We enjoyed hanging out with them. And now, their animals! Animals are well taken care of, some of them were rescued. They have chickens, rooster, ducks, 2 pigs, dogs, goats, pony and horses. It was amazing and therapeutic at the same time. Children enjoyed horseback riding. This was truly one of the kind experience, and we can't wait to go back in summer. I highly recommend it!"
