"My experience was a waste of time. If you want real service this is not the place. Save your time & go somewhere else that really wants to get you a quote. I requested a quote in December and was speaking to Mary Moses. I reached out and my calls were not returned. On 1/2/24 I asked for any updates and there were none. 1/3/24 Mary emailed and said she would get back to me at the end of the week (which never happened.) I continued reaching out but had no answer. After unreturned phone calls I emailed again on 1/22/24 for another update to which she replied "she was unable to find a better rate and would get with Matthew to see about my parents home." She could have notified me when she first knew this was the case. I will take my business elsewhere. I was originally referred to them by my realtor when we first purchased our home in 2021."

"This place is terrible. I've talked to Karen at least three to four times in the last year to find me new insurance and every time she said "I'll look into it and give you a call back in couple days with a new insurance policy" NEVER got any communication back. Literally every single time I talked to her I requested the same thing and every single time I got nothing bacl from her. I contacted a different agency and requested the same thing, they found me a new policy plan within a few hrs. What another company did for me in a few hrs, Clay Paul insurance couldn't do it in 1.5 years!!! They are completely unorganized and unprofessional. They don't care one bit about customers."

"They put our wrong mailing address on the policy. When our premium increased by over $5,000, we didn't get notice of it until our mortgage company sent an escrow shortage. Setting aside putting in the wrong address, you would think an insurance agent would call you if your premium almost doubled. Do not use these people."

"Received a notice of non-renewal for my policy and was never even contacted by my agent. Randomly received an email from Justin Arnold saying he had started a new policy with Allstate(which was over $500/yr more expensive than the previous policy) and needed me to sign some documents. Never consulted with me and I had already found a new policy on my own saving money from my previous policy. I notified him of this and never once did he attempt to stop the policy like he said he would in his email. I had to cancel the policy he started and my mortgage company had already sent payment to Allstate and Justin said they would handle this and never did, and never apologized for the inconvenience his incompetence caused. Would not recommend this group of folks who add no value to your insurance, just a middle man taking money for doing nothing."

"Absolute train wreck of an agency. After being informed that five my rental properties were improperly insured to the point that there would not be any coverage should a loss occur, I immediately requested that the policies be Rewritten to reflect the actual risk. Three and a half weeks of being unprotected later, after chasing various agents within the agency and being told a different story as to why it was taking so long every time I called in, I decided to go with a different agency. Within four hours, the new agency had everything in order and the policies written and underwritten. And the owner had the audacity to call me and lie about my new policy in an effort to retain me as a customer. After hours of talking to the new company and reading through the policy, I determined that there was absolutely no merit in what the owner said. The owners only excuse was that he called and spoke with the underwriter for 2 minutes, that the underwriter must have not known what they were talking about ( nice to know that five accounts were given two minutes of attention over three and a half weeks). I used Clay Paul as my exclusive Insurance Agency for over 6 years. And that is how they treated me. I can only imagine how they treat their new customers, who only have one account as opposed to 5 like I did. Incompetence is not a trait you want in your insurance agency, especially when you're talking about commercial policies. Don't say you weren't warned."
