"I had my 2001 Saab Towed to this location for a second opinion. The mechanic advised my car would not start due to a fuel pump needing replacement. The cost of fuel pump replacement would be $1,000 dollars. I decide to sell the car. I advised French's the new owner would be picking the vehicle up. To my surprise this shop is charging me a $95.00 dollar release charge for simply looking at my car. No Work Was Done By This Shop..,.Wow!!!"

"I am so happy I went to Frenchys. I bought a 2003 saab from a used car lot that had been pieced together. Tom was very honest with me he let me know this car was not worth putting money into. Showed me the fuse box wasn't even for a saab.I then asked him what he had for sale.He brought out this sweet black 1999 convertible. I got it for a very fair price. When I was doing paper work .I got to talking with the Secretary Charlotte was so nice I talked with her for quite awhile. She had me my tags the very next day.Buying this Saab I know it is a very good running car.Thank you all so much at Frenchys!"

"I first visited French's in 1993 when Tom fixed something for a fraction of the cost that the local Saab dealership would not cover under warranty. I had 3 more Saabs after that one and always took then to Tom. I am not very mechanically savvy. But Tom has and is always great about explaining the situation/status of my car in layman's terms without making me feel like an idiot (and that is not easy, lol). Fast forward to 2016 when I decided to purchase a convertible for a weekend ride. I decided to go back to my roots and get a Saab. I had not been to French's in 10 years. I purchased one from French's for a reasonable price plus I knew I could trust the service. I have not been disappointed. Plus Charlotte recognized me when I walked in the door. How great is that! She was great with me back then and now as well. I don't know if there are other Saab places around in DFW. There might be. But I trust the service and have been treated fairly at French's in the 20 plus years I have been a customer."

"As consumers, we are all guilty of complaining loudly when we feel wronged, but when something goes right, we tend to be quiet and reserved. I am taking the time to recommend French's service. Tom is a known expert when dealing with Saabs. His experience and dedication to fixing the problem and not a temporary bandaid is unheard of in this industry. I would never take my Saab to anyone but him in the future and I plan to have a Saab in the family for a long time. Thank you for your patience and spending the time to understand the problem Tom!! "Having owned (and currently own) Acuras and Hondas, most people would agree with me that SAABs are not the most dependable vehicles... but who cares?! We own and drive SAABs because they're fun and unique (and useful if you have the 5-door hatch). Anyways, I've had my 2001 9-3 regularly serviced at the local dealers and then had several oil leaks develop over a few seasons. The dealers quoted upwards of $3,000 to repair because they "would have to take apart the engine to figure it out." Genius! Well, frustrated by the lack of explanation, I searched and found French's. Needless to say, it was a refreshing experience. Granted, you will not get the fancy lobby or leather lounge chairs, but in return you get an honest facility where the mechanics (NOT service-bay middle-men) personally explain to you what is wrong, and will even show you the exact issues from within the shop if you're interested. Back to my oil leak issue, French's specifically identified the issues and provided me with some quotes (each oil leak individually quoted too!), around $450. However, they disclosed that it may not fix everything as there could be other leaks hidden due to the most obvious ones, but we could revisit after a few months. So far, 5 months in and nothing further to report. By and large, the best SAAB service and repair facility in the metroplex."
