"Let me set the scene for the experience my friend and I had here. . . . Now granted this was a few years ago, but it has never left my mind. We were driving to Florida from central NY. We had been driving all day and were exhausted. It was probably about 11pm. There we’re no other vacancies in the area so this was our only option. We first pass it a few times because the property is so dimly lit. Once we arrive we know we have made a big mistake but we’re so tired so we just deal with it. When I go to check in, the desk agent tells me there is a discount of $5 because they didn’t want to pay for fiber optic cable so we can only have basic cable,..... It was painful to try to listen to him try to explain the reasoning behind it, I didn’t care, I’m staying one night and I’m deliriously tired. My friend who waited in the car for this part later tells me of the many drug deals she witnessed in the 12 mins I was inside. 11:30pm, we get inside of our room. We are hit with the stench of what I can only describe as cutting open a 90 year old heavy smokers lungs. I smoke, and usually that smell doesn’t bother me so much but this was god awful. We look around at our room. Or what’s left of it. Most of the carpet is stained Horribly, and there are noticeable missing chunks of carpet. One of the wall sconces is hanging by a wire, and the other is missing a bulb. We are on the ground floor at the end of a hallway. We decide to open the curtain to see what’s outside. It’s a weird old chain link fence about 6 inches from the window with 5 feet of overgrown jungle grass. Also, a quaint little rusted bbq with an old empty pack of Newport’s on the grill. We’re grossed out badly but again super tired and just want sleep. So we check the bed to make sure there are no bed bugs. Thankfully there are none that we can find, just a little bit of questionable stains and of course a little bit of what we assume to be blood stains. We take all the towels in the bathroom and sleep on top of those fully clothed and try to sleep for a few hours. That didn’t go so well either because most of the night we kept hearing people trying to pound on the (thankfully) locked side door entrance which was unsettling. It didn’t help that our hotel room door had a 2 inch gap under it and we also heard every passing “by the hour” guest. Around 5am we’ve had enough and wanted to get back on the road. I go to take a quick shower to wash away the stank of this hotel, but quickly realize this was also a mistake. After only a few mins, the tub fills up because of a bad draining issue. I have to get out before I am done so it doesn’t overflow. Once out of the shower, I almost fell backwards back into it after a jump scare because of the walls dry rot. A piece of the wall fell off by the sink and I thought it was a big bug and almost slipped backwards in fear. We were done at this point. We just wanted to leave. We packed our stuff and ran out of there as fast as we could. Before we headed back to the front desk to return our room keys, we took a peek at the door that we heard people pounding on all night and saw a pool. Halfway filled up, with black/green water. It was late May.... not December mind you. This place was insanely disgusting. I’ve stayed at a ton of hotels on road trips and this one stood out from all the rest. I didn’t think it was possible to be this bad but it was. Now it’s a funny story because when we explain the story it almost sounds made up but it was real. I hope to god it’s better than it was that night. What a strange place"

"I just go here to have a drink. They host a Shot house Sunday on Sundays. $5 for ladies $10 for men I believe. Great drink prices. DJ present, good old fashioned fun."

"Nasty!!! Hallway is a joke carpet isn't even in place...bathroom is disgusting... every time I flush the toilet leaks wouldn't put us in another too. Took 6 days to fix!!!"

"Stayed here and paid for 30 days in advance... About 20 days into my stay the hotel power was shut offdue to non payment of ekecric bill... When i asked management and owner.. Who are the same.. For the balancr of my money back.. I was told no .. Take him to civil court... The wifi nevrr worked except in the lobby... The televißion only received 6 chanels at most times... The owner made excuse after excuse each day.. That should have been a red flag.... Anyway.. I am having to file a civil suit.. Just to get my money back... Smh... The owner is a black individual from virginia.. That obviousl has no idea how to run a business.. How do you run a hotel and allow your power to get shut off.. And then refuse yo give a refund do yo this matter... Please beware.... DO NOT ATTEMPT TO STAY HERE... AND BY YHE WAY THE POWER IS STILL OUT 6 DAYS LATER..... AND HE SCREWED ALL YHE DOORS SHUT TO KEEP THUGS OUT... BUT THAT ALSO KEEPS PATRONS IN IN THE EVENT OF A FIRE... HIS BUSINESS LICENSE SHOULD BE REVOKED"

"I have never stayed anywhere in my travels more friendly and willing to accommodate me. I am picky and very annoyed most of the time, simply because I travel so much. This place was a random choice, but the best choice I could possibly have made. It was clean, wonderful service, the food was excellent, and even the owner took care of an issue I had, immediately. You cannot ask for a better experience. And the price is UNBELIEVABLE for the service I received. I have traveled the entire planet, and I will return here, every time I am in the area."
