Tru by Hilton Traverse City

"Loved this hotel! From the included breakfast (a main reason I haven’t stayed at many hiltons), to the “hardwood” floor in the rooms (no decades old carpet you know has never been cleaned for real), to the nice hang out space in the lobby (were there celebrating a birthday so it was the perfect place to share cake with everyone), this has become my go-to place to stay in Traverse City. There’s also a water bottle filler outside the gym and no pool (which is a plus in my book). Very happy to have stayed here!"

"I recently stayed at the Tru Hotel by Hilton in Traverse City and had a thoroughly pleasant experience. From the moment I arrived, despite it being late in the night, the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, making my check-in process smooth and welcoming. The hotel itself boasts a modern and fresh look, which I found very appealing. It’s a bit hidden off the road, so be attentive while driving; it’s easy to miss the turn. This seclusion, however, contributes to a peaceful and quiet environment, which I appreciated. The rooms are new, clean, and comfortable, offering a great night’s sleep. The hotel facilities, including the breakfast options, were consistent with its rating, providing everything I needed for my stay. The breakfast was a nice start to the day, although it was quite basic. One thing to note for future guests is the use of squeeze bottles for soap and shampoo. While this is a minor detail, it could be a point of consideration for some. Overall, my experience at the Tru Hotel by Hilton was very positive. The combination of a friendly staff, clean and modern amenities, and a convenient location close to downtown Traverse City makes it a recommendable choice for travelers. I would gladly stay here again on my next visit."

"Rooms really don't have a place to put you suitcases. Breakfast was good. front desk has a very poor set up with no privacy screens on the computer. loved getting woke up by garbage collection at about 5am on a Friday morning. lots of place to eat or get groceries near by."

"We had a great one night stay. The rooms were clean and spacious with a nice design. They had board games in the lobby and Foosball tables and it is nicely decorated. The breakfast was delicious!"

"This hotel was amazing! It's modern inside and the rooms were very clean. The front desk guy was great and very friendly. Breakfast was great, also. Our son very much enjoyed having a foosball table to play at and there were board games in the lobby too. The refillable soap and shampoo is a great idea. After my shower, I was wishing I had brought lotion but then right next to the soap was lotion! As a family we have traveled a fair amount and we all agree, this is the best hotel we have stayed at. We didn't use the workout room but it had a lot of free weights. If we would have brought workout clothes we definitely would have used it. It was also very quiet throughout the night. Just all around, a fantastic hotel!"
