"I choose this hotel because my regular one was closed for the season. It was very nice! The decor is amazing wood themed. By surprise there is a recliner with a massage thing that was wonderful. Since it was off season I was able to check in at 11am so I could change for the funeral I was in town for. I would recommend trying Bear Cove; I will be staying there next time I come to town!"
"We stayed here in late January, so we could see the UP in winter. It was great. St. Ignace is a beautiful town. Not many people during winter, which is great. The owners were friendly and treated us well. The room was very nice. Big bed, unique decor and hot water. Each room has a theme to it. The one we stayed in was the Bear Den. I much rather give my money to someone who is local to the area and a small business than a big business hotel. Many things to do in the area. I would stay here again if we make it back to St. Ignace."

"We stayed here for two nights in the Wilderness room (see photo below). Other than a slight hiccup when we got there, which was quickly remedied by one of the staff, everything was great. The decor was awesome! We would definitely stay there again."
