"Had an awesome time staying in cabin 4 last weekend. The cabin was very rustic but super clean. Could it use some upgrades, sure but the amazing location with Lake Michigan right outside your door makes it worth it. Enjoyed watching Moose, the resident chocolate Lab roaming around and taking a dip in the lake when he felt like it! Hope to return next year. The price was very reasonable with a million dollar view. Hope to stay again next year"

"Me and my husband spent 8 nights in cabin 1 for our honeymoon. The resort is on a Bay on Lake Michigan. It is very beautiful and relaxing. The cabins are old which we admired but in excellent condition. They were spotless and had all the comforts of home. The kitchen was equipped with a full size fridge, stove, microwave, coffee maker and dishes. There is a play area for children and the bay is very shallow. It's very quiet and peaceful. We were pleasantly surprised at how affordable it was. The family who owns the resort are really friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back again!"

"We chose this small resort to not only celebrate our 22nd Anniversary (9/11) but to rock hunt Lake Superior! Clean rustic feel cabin, loved the hot tub and the view of Lake Michigan. It was a plus that it was Pet Friendly. Although being pet friendly it was hard to let my dog out the lab roaming barked at us everytime making our dog scared. I don't know why. But overall great experience. Thank you The Sullivan's"

"Just checked out of cabin 7 this morning. My husband, three kids, two dogs and I LOVED everything about this place!! So cute and rustic. Gorgeous waterfront location. Everything necessary in kitchen to cook meals. Beds were comfortable. We loved the front porch swing. We travel often and I don’t think I’ve ever been motivated to leave a review for any place that we’ve stayed. Loved this place so much that I had to comment. Owners were friendly and we enjoyed petting their dog Moose. Updating was going on while we were there and I can tell that they are constantly updating the property. I do need to apologize because I didn’t realize that we should have ran the vacuum over the floors before we left since we had pets with us (I happened to see that comment in another review on here after we checked out). We will definitely be back in the future!"
