"I read beforehand that the TV might have quirks so I wasn't surprised. This is a solid, good motel. Very clean, comfortable, quiet. I wanted a good night's sleep and got that."

"We appreciated the great service from the GM (Kara) room was clean and comfortable. We were very grateful for a dog friendly place to stay on the quiet, quaint St Ignace"

"I'm worried this place is going to get pushed out like all the other run down motels in the UP if they don't do some infrastructure updates quick. The driveway has a major pothole in it and our car bottomed out. The room we had (king bed, bay view) had hot water after 15 minutes of running and NO water pressure. The TVs took over 20 minutes to load the channels after following the 7 step guide to turn them on. When I went to the desk to ask for help, they said "that's just how this room is". After travelling all day, all we wanted was a hot shower and we did not get that."

"We had such amazing hospitality here! Kara was so kind and welcoming (our pup was welcome too!) - and the accommodations were exactly what we needed - a nice room with a bed to sleep in, a restroom and an amazing view of Lake Huron - what a sunrise! We would stay here again!"

"My fiance and I had our original hotel accidentally cancelled by the hotel, so we ended up down at bayview where we had the best hospitality! We couldn't have chose a better motel to go to in our little emergency during the big car show. Luckily she was able to get us right in a room for the night. She told us before hand that her only complaint she gets is the small bathrooms but we had a bed to sleep in so we are super grateful!"
