About the Business
St Charles Court Apartments is a charming 96-unit complex located on the northern edge of downtown Canton, Ohio. Situated within walking distance to Malone College and downtown, our property consists of four Georgian-style buildings surrounding a beautifully landscaped courtyard. Each apartment is equipped with air conditioning, fully stocked kitchens, 24-hour emergency maintenance, and on-site laundry facilities. Residents enjoy free off-street parking, spacious closets, and some units even feature patios or balconies.
We are a cat-friendly community with a small monthly fee for up to two cats. Residents are responsible for electric, which includes heating and air conditioning. Additionally, there is a flat fee for water, trash, sewage, and pest control. While we are not income-based, we do accept vouchers and offer a smooth application process through an outside Screening Program.
Conveniently located on the SARTA bus route, St Charles Court Apartments provide easy access to public transportation. Our residents appreciate the clean and peaceful environment, as well as the prompt maintenance service. "The property manager and maintenance man are very pleasant and helpful, but the owners are out of state and very slow to respond to problems. Also they seem to have confused priorities. I have been living here for 8 years and just signed a new lease. All in all I have had a good experience. Though I believe a better job could be done with maintaining the property with more personnel and by hiring better contractors."

"I keep to myself most of the time so I only know people through passing. However, all the people I have met this far have been very polite and incredibly helpful. Leasing office is next door and they are very helpful whenever I've had an issue. If something needs fixing the person will be here that day or the day after which is super convenient. Bills are relatively cheap and easy to maintain as a single young adult. The neighbor kids in the lot are a bit annoying as they're always outside playing and screaming. The past few weeks I'd say even til almost 1 or 2 am which is ridiculous. And the cops show up once in a while. But other than that it's pretty quiet and everyone is tolerable. Apartments are small but very fitting and comfortable."
"I would give them no stars if I could but unable to do that. Management does not care about tenants living in the apartments they only care about getting their money. Management has no people or customer service skills as they are very rude and when you would contact them to make a complaint all that is said is there is nothing they can do because that would require them to leave their office and actually do something. While my husband and I lived there a neighbor had company and that person took all their clothes if and went to all the neighbors and knocked on every door. I would not recommend renting these apartments to my worst enemy."
"I moved into St. Charles 6 months ago. I've lived in other apartments and houses in canton for the last 5 years. I don't party and I work. I am happy living here and I feel safe and the place is quiet for me and my son. The workers fix things right away if there is a problem and they are always scrubbing the hallways, and this may sound dumb, but I love the fact that everything smells clean."
