Fairways of Jackson

"First, let me say that our actual apartment was great. Spacious for the price and up to date. Clean when we moved in. That's where the good things end. For the first several months we lived there the fire alarm would randomly go off at all hours of the day, sending the Jackson FD to investigate each time. It took about 3 months of arguing with the property manager to finally have someone come fix it. After calling him at 10pm when the fire alarm was going off for the 5th time I got yelled at and cussed out after letting him know that the problem was unacceptable and needed to be fixed. Both property managers are incredibly difficult to get a hold of, rude, and trying to get anything fixed is a nightmare. Management of the grounds was also rough. During the winter, snow would pile up in the parking lot and no one would do anything until 2-3 days after it snowed. By then it was mostly ice. The sidewalks and steps were rarely salted. During the summer, the landscapers would ride through the wet grass, leaving mud streaks and chunks of turf all over. There is the biggest pothole you've ever seen spanning both sides of the main entrance. No one ever tried to do anything about it. Finally, it took us over three months to get our security deposit back when we moved out. Cambridge Service Co, the company who owns it, is super shady and difficult to get a hold of. Never got an explanation for why it took so long. I believe we only even got it back because I was extremely persistent following up on it. That said, neighbors were very nice and the community overall was safe and quiet. If you're looking for a nice apartment for the money, this is a good choice. Just beware of the property managers and good luck trying to get anything done."

"Been here 3 weeks an can't get things fixed. Fire alarm goes of a couple times a week but I think they may have fixed it. The management company doesn't let you know if they are going to fix anything an won't answer your emails but expect the rent. It's a very quiet place an neighbors are nice."

"My husband and I stayed in a 2bed 2bath for one year at Fairways. VERY spacious. We loved the porch/patio and garage space. Bonus was having laundry in the unit. Management was very accomodating when we needed anything, we would recommend Fairways as its close to everything but out of the busy-ness of Belden."

"The property is very well kept and clean with lovely landscaping. On site managers are responsive and easy to deal with and address issues in a timely manner. Our apartment is spacious and having laundry facilities in our own place is a big plus."

"Un-fairways of Jackson 3 hours to change 2 taps: I think Fairways of Jackson make money by keeping deposits of it tenants. Here is a sample: When we left we were charged for 3 hours of 'professional' plumber to change 2 taps. We all know it doesn't take that long. So either the charge was outright inflated or the same plumber was used to do jobs from other apartments and it was all charged to us. Even after bringing this to their attention, nothing was done. Change name to : Unfairways of Jackson"
