"EDITED to address owner’s response: Property allows pets for $200 non-refundable fee and $50 extra per month. My daughter has a one cat and we thoroughly cleaned any litter or debris. I was also a co-signor on the lease. My daughter nor myself received any pictures showing the damage that needed repaired. The apartment was cleaned thoroughly and left in move-in condition and nothing was provided to show otherwise. I am glad you are addressing maintenance/security concerns now but these should have been implemented from the first day my daughter moved in, thus my negative review on these issues. Perhaps the properties were leased too soon in attempt to get ROI? My daughter lived here for almost 2 years. We first thought it would be a great place. The property was renovated to have modern apartments in a convenient location in Ohio City. However, I would not recommend it after her experiences. First, she paid $50 a month to park with no security cameras and no gate until over a year after she moved in. The gate was frequently malfunctioning. Some residents had their cars vandalized and one was stolen. Second, maintenance was not that great. The lot was not plowed timely in the winter. The excuse was we can’t find a plow truck to come. That doesn’t help residents who need their cars to go to work. Other issues were handled but not timely. If you had an issue in the weekend, just forget it. I know there are plumbers, electricians etc that will come same day, so it seems the landlord just didn’t want to pay for it. Third, before moving my wife and I helped out daughter clean the apartment thoroughly, including touching up paint. You can’t put any holes in walls to hang things, so just normal wear and tear. We could only do so much with the shower as there was some damage (black marks) before she moved in. We probably spent 8 hours total. Despite this my daughter still had almost 20% of her security deposit withheld. If you move in here, take pictures to document any prior damage, as well as on move out. Do not agree to a remote inspection. Make sure you own a snow shovel. Invest in a security system for your car."
