"If I could leave zero stars, I would. First, beware of the 5-star reviews left recently(2-3 months ago)…those are written largely by people who work here and their extended families. Many others are written simply because it was a requirement to enter raffles during the few resident events that have been held. The property is not kept clean: trash, cigarette butts, rats, broken siding, boards falling from buildings, dog waste everywhere, and no effort to clean any of it up despite multiple complaints. Property management & associates rarely respond to emails or return voice messages. On the off chance you do get to speak to someone, they are dismissive and rude. Recent work order submitted (12/25/23) about washing machine—it was 3 days before any response to my request was attempted. Maintenance tech showed up (12/28/23) and said “it will be a few weeks so be patient. We will need to check about the warranty. We have on-site laundry you can use.” For the amount of rent I pay—I refuse to carry everything I own up and down 2 flights stairs for 2-3 weeks. So, I resolved the issue myself by purchasing a whole new set (washer and dryer) that will be delivered and set up in one day. Reached out via email, phone call, and work order request (12/28/23) that the property washer and dryer be removed before delivery of my own units. Received a call from the maintenance supervisor who stated that they have a brand new washer that could have been used to replace the broken one. However, that is not the information I received from the maintenance technician earlier in the day. I received a second call but no message was left (2:13pm). I returned the call to the office (2:34pm) and spoke to Miranda who told me maintenance was calling to see if they could enter to get the washer and dryer. I informed her that I was home & they could come now. At 4:01pm, I called the office again to see what the hold up was. Miranda told me that maintenance was called away on an emergency and wouldn’t be coming today. Any one with any knowledge of customer service would have known to call and communicate that information. When I suggested the staff needs to work on their communication with the residents and each other, she dismissed me and hung up. I knew I shouldn’t have signed another lease with this Village Green property management company based on my experiences over the past year, but foolishly I did. I won’t make that mistake twice, I can assure you. I do not recommend living here unless you want to pay premium prices for sub par services. RESPONSE TO PROPERTY OWNER RESPONSE: Yes. I submitted the work order on Christmas. NO ONE reached out to me on 12/26–I called them to see when someone would be out since I have to crate my dog when anyone comes in my apartment. I spoke with Miranda who told me that they wouldn’t be able to come until later in the week. That was fine with me. I didn’t hear anything else until Thursday, 12/28. On 12/28, the maintenance technician told me that it would be WEEKS before anything would be resolved. I sent another email stating that I would just buy my own appliances, which I did, and could have a new washer and dryer in ONE day. After reading that email, the maintenance supervisor THEN told me there was a brand new washer that could be installed. He, nor anyone, spoke to me on 12/27–check your records again. Since I had already resolved my own problem, I declined and asked that the property appliances be picked up so I could receive delivery on 12/29. On 12/28, I was told, at 2:30pm that someone was coming to get them. At 4:01pm, I had to call again just to be told that no one was coming (and subsequently be dismissed as if I was somehow in the wrong for expecting clear and true communication). Honestly, the round and round and round excuses and lack of communication is getting really old. If people are out of the office, whoever IS in the office should be communicating with residents. And communicating actual facts."

"I appreciate the maintenance team for being proactive keeping the bag dispensers full for the "dog business"! The fitness center is spacious and the front office does a great job keep sanitary materials available! Great location to downtown Dublin and easy access to the highways."

"Moved out May 31st. Provided my forwarding address and now 2 full months later I still haven't received it. Despite moving out on time and leaving the apartment in excellent condition management said they are keeping over half of the deposit because the keys were returned a little later, even though I was told it was fine (working doubles across town and forgot they were on my key ring) and the lease didn't say there were any reprocussions for putting them in the drop box. Staff is just making up excuses to keep deposits because they can't fill the vacancies after raising prices 20%"

"OCTOBER 2022: A sign of excellent management is regular site improvements. During our 3 years here, we've watched multiple property upgrades. - 2022: every road, drive and parking area extensively sealed and crack filling. OCTOBER 2021: “I LOVE our apartment” I hear this comment a couple of times a week from my very happy wife. We moved into our apartment at The Orchard on Wilcox in February 2020, we both are delighted with our decision and the wonderful people we have met. The staff and leadership of The Orchard are everything we would expect and want from an apartment management team. Our Property Manager, Maria, is the most professional and sincere person we’d want in the PM role. Her staff has listened well, responded honestly to our issues and took action on our requests as necessary. They are excellent. We have met a number of truly outstanding residents here who have made our transition to NW Columbus enjoyable and easy. We’re looking forward to building our friendships and making more friends as we continue living at The Orchard. Mike"

"We are going on our 4th year and just love it! Enjoy the pool and community center for family gatherings and celebrations… movie theatre with popcorn, exercise room and showers are a plus!! The ponds with waterfalls and fountains are so relaxing each day! And let’s not forget all the wildlife… ducks, birds (hummingbirds also), squirrels, rabbits and fish! The office staff is always so happy and pleasant… the maintenance and grounds staff is on top of any small issues! Thought we would only be here for one year But just want to stay for awhile!! The pool parties and surprises as we are heading out for work handed to us in our cars are so nice! The gated community makes us feel a lot safer! Our outdoor patio on the pond is the best!! A great place for all ages… we so enjoy the friends we have met here! Rich and Elizabeth"
