"First day me and my girlfriend moved December 2nd 2019 it was no heat and Nicki told us to wait on maintenance like everybody else within 10 minutes after giving us our keys. It took them 2 weeks to fix the heat in 20 degree weather we had to buy 2 space heaters that barely warmed the house up. The Foundation was bad so every time it rained the living room carpet was drenched in water leaving a mildew smell and caused a mold build up they didn’t replace the carpet you know what they did instead they just Steamed it(Putting water on water) then used fans to dry out the carpet that had already accumulated mold with bugs underneath the carpet. In the pictures you can see where water build up is in the walls that runs right by electric they still didn’t care even with a baby in the house. They thought putting dirt on the outside of the house along with gravel would stop the water from traveling into the home but of course that didn’t fix it. We Had a mice problem for over a year because that’s how long it took them to fill the entry points that I told them to do the first time. I told them I wouldn’t resign the lease until they fixed the problems or move us into a new unit and instead of them having any kind of integrity they automatically resigned my lease without my signature and took my rent from $900 all the way to $1700 then told me I was 2 months behind and owed them $4700 if you can do math that doesn’t add up even with late fees so we got evicted because I wasn’t gonna pay it. This was my first apartment after moving out of my parents house I wish I would of trusted the reviews from 2019 and before 2019 management does not care about you. and when maintenance comes they don’t care to knock they will walk right through your door unannounced.(even if you put do not enter if you don’t answer) I wouldn’t recommend this place to anybody. Nikki made sure they charged me a $100 carpet cleaning fee after the eviction even though she knew the carpet had built up mold and had no problem with moving somebody else into with the same unit with the same carpet, and same problems. They will tell you lies and won’t fix anything unless you put your money into escrow but I had faith they would keep their word don’t let these people lie to you. This was my experience with villages of wildwood. I’m blessed enough to have found a better home that’s worth the money."

"Filled out rental app paid fee. I was told needed cosigner which I did. And after cosigner was told I need to pay a company 1500 Dollar fee to rent. Which was not a deposit. And after everything I feel lied to and mislead. I make more than enough money for rent but recent divorce left my credit not the best. But to have a few like that is ridiculous. I searched hundreds of apartments and I loved this one. But that fee which you don't get back and it says one months rent fee. 1500 is way more than rent. I am a nurse and great income. And co-signer had excellent credit so yes I fell very mislead. Especially when it sent me a link to register as a resident and allowed me to buy renters insurance. Be very careful when applying here. Very misleading and no return emails or calls from staff."

"I’m so heartbroken that I feel like I need to write this review… I am on my fourth month of (overpaying) rent at this “community”. I have been trying my absolute best to stick it out and just move forward but I’m a busy person and the point of living in an apartment is to still feel comfortable, relaxing , and like a home when getting back after a long and stressful day of work. Even before I moved in officially, I started getting screwed over. Rent rate is a false show. What you see as listed rent is not including the NON OPTIONAL additional fees. I don’t use cable yet there is no choice to opt out of paying for it. The electrical bill for my one bedroom is over 100$ a month despite only using heat for a maximum of 2-3 hours when I’m coming home from work or if I’m off work- I don’t have any appliances other than my refrigerator left plugged in most days and yet the inefficient heating/cooling systems keep sucking energy. I’ve not had consistent/reliable hot water in my apartment since I moved in and I’m going to be putting my rent in escrow until I can get out of here. I’m at my wits end. I’ve tried to be patient but my calls, emails, and showing my face to the office personally continue to be dismissed and disrespected. This is not a fair or just living situation for anyone to be in. I have many more struggles and issues going on in here that have yet to be reconciled but this is as much as I’ll share in hopes that someone will read and reconsider their options when checking this place out. I feel I’ve been played like a fool and dismissed…"

"Good place to live. Not a typical boring apartment complex where all the buildings are cookie cutter. A lot of variety and cool wooded area, and nice open areas where there used to be a golf course I heard. Maintenance guy Bob (dude with a long beard) was friendly, helpful, and took care of an issue. Cool pub too."

"My partner and I moved to Wildwood, and overall, it's a great community. I love the pools and the Pub and the park-like atmosphere. Recently we had an issue where we had to call maintenance for assistance. Bob F. was the technician who came to us. He was quick, efficient, professional, and friendly. If we have any other issues here, we want Bob to resolve them!"
