"I just called to inquire about making a reservation for a date in November. He laughed at me and asked how I even knew what I was doing that day since it was so far in advance? Ummm, I’d hardly say 4 months is that far in advance. Then he said he cannot book me because of that. Sorry that I am more organized than you, sir! You sounded like a weirdo on the phone anyway. I’ll take my business elsewhere!"
"Absolutely wonderful host and a lovely place to stay"
"I stayed here on a trip with my parents a few years ago (2013). At first it seemed charming, but it wore off fast. The rooms hadn't been thoroughly cleaned. The bathroom I near my room hadn't been cleaned either. In the dining area there was a basket of muffins, individually wrapped, that had gone moldy. The tour and conversation about the area, since we had never been to Cleveland before, eventually turned very uncomfortable when the owner started making insensitive and judgmental comments about black people and about low income individuals. I felt very uncomfortable, both due to the owner's attitudes and the lack of care for the rooms and guest experience. The only positive aspect I can remember from this visit was the food the owner served for breakfast. It was good, but not good enough to make up for the otherwise disappointing and unpleasant experience I had here."

"I was excited about booking a stay at this bed and breakfast...until I called to inquire about availability and rates. The gentleman (I shouldn't use that term) who answered the phone was VERY RUDE. Granted, I did call at 11 p.m., but YOU are running a business and should accommodate all clientele. If you don't want to receive inquires outside of business hours then 1) post your business hours on your website near your phone number and 2) invest in an answering machine. Now, I am willing to pay more for an inferior room at a chain rather than patron and support a local, small business owner! Thank you."
