"I rarely write reviews because I'm rarely impressed anymore, but I love where I live and wish I would have known about this place sooner. Maybe my review will help someone find their next place to live. My husband & I (as well as our dogs) love living at New River Cove Apartments! We've been here going on three years. New River Cove is a great place to live for several reasons; There are several different floor plans. The website shows all of the options. If you're wanting a garage later, there are garages and covered parking you can add to your lease at a later date. We chose a 1/1 with a garage. We like having our motorcycle garaged as well as having an extra fridge and storage space. I didn't think. 1 bedroom would work for us but had no doubts after I toured it. Our bathroom has two sinks and it's a large bathroom with great storage space for two people. (ladies...we don't like sharing sinks, so consider this option!) The bedroom is large enough to hold our king sized bed, two nightstands. a large dresser/mirror and a high five drawer chest of drawers. I also have a little home office set up. We still have plenty of room to move around. The kitchen is big enough to allow two cooks at once and decent storage plus an enclosed laundry closet with washer dryer and storage for laundry essentials. There is a door that closes off the bathroom & bedroom area in the event extra privacy is needed or to reduce noise from living area. The hall closet is shelved so can be either a food pantry or linen storage. We use it for food since our bedroom walk-in closet has more shelf space that we need for clothes. The living room and dining room are open with no walls so you can use more of the space for living room if preferred. The huge sliding glass door is floor to ceiling and goes out to a large covered patio area that we spend a lot of time on. Our view of the huge trees and wildlife are a joy. We especially enjoy the river view as we are literally 10 yards to the edge of the New River. We are walking distance to two pristine pools and state of the gym on site. Both pools have high-end loungers and umbrellas like a fine resort. ❤️ This property is secluded with no drive by traffic. The address is on State Rd 84 but the property sits back off the road so far we can't see the road. We love that and love that we are 10 minutes from the beach, the cruise port, the airport and many of our favorite spots. The manager, staff, and maintenance are amazing. They are quick to anticipate and address issues often before they are even reported. Can't say enough about how great they have been. When they realized the April storm water was going to get into some garages or units they had a plan implemented as soon as the rain stopped. Drywall on one garage wall was ripped out, sprayed to stop mold and drywall replaced and painted within two days of the water receding. Oh forgot to mention we have some awesome neighbors who will most likely be lifelong friends. Those of us with dogs met faster and see one another regularly as we walk several times a day. Come take s look if you're wanting a change or transitioning out of a house or into a house. We hope to be here for a couple of more years before we retire to TN, MS or NC. "I'm convinced these positive reviews are fake. I moved to New River Cove three years ago, and the first two years were great until recently. This place went downhill with the new management. The old management was so accommodating, and did what was best for each tenant personally and as a whole, and I appreciated everything they did for me over the two years they worked here. The current manager and assistant manager are not accommodating, and only care about the corporate side of things. They don’t do what is best for their tenants. The rent is insanely high for what you’re actually getting. The appliances are cheap and barely work. Also the water bill is outrageous, I spend over $150 per month on water that I do not use. The fitness center is nice but it's closed when most people are able to work out. AVOID living here. EDIT: I have moved out and was charged insane fees upon move out. I was charged for a carpet replacement due to a "pet stain" when I do not even own a pet. Ridiculous."

"I am so glad we found these apartments! This was the only place in the area we could find that would fit all of our furniture, had large closets and a garage. The community is hidden away, private and quiet but is close to the beach and right off all the major freeways. I appreciate having a large gym here that has all the equipment I use and the Maintenace crew keeps that and the community grounds very clean. Jessica and her whole team made us feel right at home from the beginning! I highly recommend this place!"

"My fiancé and I recently moved in and could not be more impressed with the smooth process. New River Cove gave us a fresh start and a peace of mind. This beautiful, well maintained, gated community on the water is one of a kind. From the endless places to explore on the water to the extravagant amenities. We are in awe of the luxuries this complex provides and we are utterly grateful for the kindness the New River Cove staff provides us with daily. This complex will most definitely be home for a while to come."
