"Honestly I’d leave a 1 star, but they are doing construction that looks like it will turn out nice in the end, but will still be extremely cramped. I’ll start by saying the check-in, store, and pool area were very nice, my daughter loved going there after a long day out in the sun. Then it was the cost, it was really expensive. I paid less for Disney’s Ft. Wilderness (like one of the best rated resorts in the country with a million things to do) a week ago in a premium spot. And I’m paying almost the same for Margaritaville during Easter Break, which is again like a 5 star campground. The rest was not very good, it’s the most cramped I’ve ever seen a campground just way too close like people almost touching they need to cut down about 15% of their sites. We were lucky to get the like only semi private spot in the park, but that was still like against the driveway thru the park that everyone was walking and driving a couple feet from the side of our trailer. Then it was the fees, $5 a night extra per kid, $20 extra a night for an extra car to park in the like 40 spaces in the parking lot (which their site said $10). I stay for 1/3 the price at the county park nearby which is 100 times better. Hard pass for me, has a lot of potential but still going to be way too crowded and uncomfortable for me to return, especially at the price point they’re charging."

"This was a week long stop over for us. It was like the KOA’s I remember as a kid, kinda mediocre. The staff were incredible, so nice and friendly. Pancake breakfast and coffee on Saturday was awesome too. The pool was warm and clean. The location and condition of the the showers, bathrooms, laundry, etc….all left something to be desired. I rated this place a “3” not because it was bad, but compared to some of the “5” star resorts we’ve stayed at, it left something to be desired."

"Absolute worst KOA ever stayed at no redeeming qualities. It looked like I’ve refugee camp that has been recently bombed. When I made the reservations they did not mention the construction the tight conditions barely were able to drive in without disconnecting towed. As far as I’m concerned, I was absolutely ripped off."

"This place has been UNDER CONSTRUCTION for years due to the high staff turn over . It is rated a 1 for work campers . No work is truly ever completed. The owner is a slim lord and definitely has no clue how to run a KOA .. I wish KOA would pull their branding from this owner. Work and stay at your own risk."

"Saw a lot of reviews, and yes it’s under construction but we were welcomed by all the staff very nicely. The side we were assigned was nice with a little patio. All hook ups were perfectly fine. It’s great for a night or two when you are passing through. 45 min to South Beach is for Miami not bad."
