"I met Jim through his wife Trish who is my massage therapist. I had him look at my Kia because the dealership told me I needed to change the power steering fluid for over $500. Turns out it was fine. How many shops would be that honest? Obviously I was very grateful for that. Jim fixed another problem with the hatchback and gave me a quote on preventative maintenance for the car. I’m so happy to have a talented professional right down the street to take care of my car. "Jim's, owned and operated by Jim himself, is an old-fashioned, American auto and cycle shop. Jim is trustworthy and fair. He's price competitive, but not always the cheapest. But, if you want cheap, you'll get what you pay for. I don't trust my wife's life nor my own to some entry-level employees of some corporate chain who have no skin in the game. If I pay a little more, but I get personalized service (yes, he'll remember you!) as well as peace of mind, it's worth it all day, every day. And, he stands by his work! Reliability is rare these days. Hence why I said that he reminds me of the old-fashioned shops of my youth. If I could give 6 stars, I would!"
