Comfort Suites Maingate East

"Comfort Suites was a one night stay for us. We had a good experience with the staff who were friendly and quick. The room was dressed well and clean. It had a lot of abilities such as plugs and lights. The beds were slightly firm. Not too thick but the housekeeping the staff prepare them nicely. The place has nice and high ceilings in the room as well. The next morning they did serve a hot breakfast with Mickey mouse shaped fresh waffle , scrambled eggs and ham and they had other things like pastries and cereal. I was liking the taste and the presentation. Very simple but yet easy. I do plan on staying there again. It is not the top rated hotel, You can tell it's a little older but I enjoyed my stay."

"The staff at this location are great. The breakfast is awesome! There is a small arcade in the lobby area. A fitness center, pool, and hot tub. We used the pull out bed during our stay and the bedding was not changed from the previous user. The room smelled strongly of mildew/ mold. My wife and one child have asthma so this really hindered us. I was told there were no other rooms available for us to move into. The beds are very uncomfortable, almost like sleeping on stacked up cardboard. Refrigerator worked great, microwave in the room. The a.c. unit kept shutting it's self off even when it was not close to temp. There's lots of stuff to do in the immediate area. Location is close enough to Disney parks about 8/10 mins. Parking lot is big enough that you don't have to park next to someone, however someone decided to park next to me while I parked far away from anyone, and they decided to throw their door against the side of my car. Not the staff's problem, but very rude."

"Word of warning from my mistakes. Never get the pay now and save rate from the Comfort Inn suites in Kissimmee. Stay away from Choice hotels in general. Would give negative star, if I could. I tried to save money and book an off site hotel at the Comfort Inn and Suites Maingate East while going to Disney World. The reviews here and google seemed hit or miss. But it said that it offered free breakfast and free shuttles to the parks. I called to research what the shuttles entailed, the representative was very short with their answers and said it runs from 7–12 pm and you have to schedule your ride ahead of time. When asked about the return options, all they said it would be explained the morning we book the shuttle. This in turned gave me anxiety about gettting to and from the parks and I decided I needed to switch to an on-site resort to ease my concerns. This is the main issue. When I called to cancel still over 60 days from arrival they said I had no refundable tickets that did not offer any type of cancellation. The pay now and save rate tickets. So I’m out the complete total cast of the hotel stay tickets, without any option to cancel or modify. I have call the hotel multiple times, customer support, customer relations and it’s locked in and they will not do anything to help. In conclusion, it’s not worth stay at this hotel."

"When you read all the reviews about a hotel that is "dated and needs repairs".... This is the one they did the repairs. As a frequent traveler I can tell it's not a brand new facility.... It's not a five star resort.... But it's really decent, and for the money and for the location, it's hard to beat. Pool was reasonably warm. Breakfast was ok, but had awesome Mickey Mouse waffles the kids loved. Great location with easy access to a wide variety from Flea Markets to Swamp Tours to Disney. And the staff was very friendly and helpful. For the price, I certainly would stay again."

"My family went on vacation for Halloween, this was an awesome hotel. Everyone was so nice there, rooms were awesome, the breakfast was great, but it was the same things so it got a little borning eating the same stuff. Has a really nice pool, hot tub with a lot of chairs to lay on, has a little bar out by the pool. All the parks are like 10-15 minutes away. There was so much to do around the hotel, there was a roller coaster, go cart racing, games across the street, a putt putt down the street, and A strip of stores in Old Town. If we come back, we will definitely be staying at this hotel again. Thank you for a wonderful vacation."
