"Quite possibly the worst experience I've had in a MOTEL. This is not a resort. We definitely got swindled granted it said it was cheaper online we ended up paying fees when checking in including a resort fee which is laughable. We paid for 3 night only stayed 2 as I really couldn't handle sleeping another night in this place. I'm not entirely sure how it's not condemned. There were people fighting and drinking and doing drugs on the property and everything was gross, dirty and smelled like urine. We lived and learned."

"The first impression was not very pleasant, the girl at the front desk was very rude. I arrived 10 minutes early to check in and the girl was extremely rude. I came back later to get the room key. Arriving in the room, the carpet was filthy, in fact everything needs to be changed. A stench of marijuana. I just didn't leave because I had already had a problem with renting the car. What was supposed to be a great trip with my wife turned into a nightmare. The only good thing about the hotel is the location. The rest need an admin to put that place into a hotel category. The place really has potential, but it looks like an abandoned factory."

"ABSOLUTELY disgusting. we paid for a lake view and when we got there none of the lights worked there was a live roach in the tub the room was dirty. They switched us to a room on the whole other side no lake view and the room was also dirty there was like old gum stuck to the tub my pillow had someone else’s hair on it and the a/c was so loud sounding like it was about to take off you could not sleep with it on but if was midnight and we drove a long time we didnt feel like changing AGAIN. we finally put everything down to shower and use the restroom to realize there was no toilet paper and no towels and the bed had spots on it. The location is pretty convenient but overall the hotel was disgusting and the service I received at the front desk. The lady knew nothing I just kept saying here’s my manager Number she’s my manager to not only just me but everybody that was in line in front of me and behind me while I have someone in the front that doesn’t know what they’re doing if she’s going to do is tell us to speak to the manager who is not even on schedule. I will never go back."

"Good location but you definitely get what you pay for with this motel, and yes this is a MOTEL NOT A HOTEL. Front desk is rude. Bugs in room. Needs to be upgraded and renovated. Carpets need to be cleaned and tub is so stained it should go in the trash!"

"DO. NOT. STAY. HERE! I rarely post reviews because I think they tend to showcase and celebrate people’s worst and most complain-y tendencies, but I am making an exception for this because it’s important for people to know. Before I elaborate on the “resort” itself, I do want to note that the staff by whom we were helped were absolutely lovely - kind, understanding, and willing to do their utmost to make the situation right. In terms of the accommodations themselves… we initially thought there had been a mistake when we opened the door to our room and were greeted by the stench (and I’m not being dramatic, it reeked) of musky urine. The carpets had stains all over them and there is no way they had been vacuumed in the last decade. Further, none of the lamps in the room worked, nor did the phone, nor the TV and there was black mould ALL OVER the bathroom - in the tub, on the walls, on the door, in the grout, etc.. Being excited for our vacation, the friend who I was with and I initially attempted to maintain an open mind (“It may not be ideal but at least it’s cheap!”) but after leaving to have supper, mulling it over, and returning to our stinky mould-infested room, we decided to speak to the staff member working the front desk (who again, was lovely). No fewer than four rooms were offered to us (all of which had the same or similar issues) before we decided to find somewhere else last minute. When we did get to the new hotel, we noticed that the clothes we had been wearing when we first arrived smelled the same as the room had despite having spent very little time there. Just being there briefly made us feel like we had to shower for a million years afterward. I want to note here too that neither myself nor my friend are precious in any way when it comes to accommodations. We’ve frequently stayed together at hostels and cheap motels and are more or less always willing to sacrifice comfort for a good price. However… this experience helped us realize that there is most definitely a limit to that."
