Flamingo Waterpark Resort

"The staff here are phenomenal- kind, considerate and friendly. Abby checked me in, she was a delight regardless of it being super early. I had an unexpected flight cancellation and I was checked in within less than an hour of booking (most of that had to do with travel time from the airport). This is an excellent place for a family, especially if you expect to have some downtime at the hotel. They have a waterpark open on weekends, pool and arcade. On site shop had basics and was affordable. On site restaurant is closed currently and pool side restaurant is only available on weekends. There is a diner next door that came highly recommended. Area seems moderately walkable and about 20-30 minutes from main attractions and shopping. My room is a little older but was clean and had everything I needed. Perfect fit for families on a budget or stranded tourists."

"The entrance is hidden and a little difficult to navigate but once you get in. The rooms are huge. The staff was extremely friendly. Pool is heated. It's a cute place to take kids. The value was great. Close to the Silver Spurs Arena."

"As with many many of the venues and establishments on the street that are offered to the general public, this one was a little above the rest of the venues that are showing their age use and abuse. This is to be expected as Orlando is the number one destination for a lot of times during the year and the volume of people going through these facilities is mind-blowing compared to normal hotel motel resorts in other states. This place has been keeping up and updating itself as far as the rooms go. My room was clean enough to pass my basic needs though I did keep my shoes on the whole time I was there. I did not participate or purchase the water park features as this was just a place to stay since most of the hotels were booked and I needed a room asap. So I cannot comment on the facilities other than they looked pretty cool and if I were kid I would been excited to be there."

"I went to this hotel this past weekend, It was ok but not as exciting as I pictured it to be. The room had a molded smell. The building is old. It looks better online than it does in person...The furniture in the room was old. That doesn't remind me of a resort. They call it that just to be able to charge u extra money for a resort fee. They have too many extra fees associated with this place. There's a resort fee which was $33.00, there's a deposit fee too for $100.00, deposit fee for what?? Not to mention that you have to pay for the nightly fee also I didn't even get full use of the resort because it was raining. We didn't get to do the waterpark part of it...We ate breakfast the next day, the breakfast menu was very limited. Everything that u do there u had to pay for. I don't think we will be coming back no time soon..Even my baby said I wasn't comfortable there. Some people were saying that they saw roaches. I didn't see roaches, I had my son to inspect the room before we went in it."

"Very impressed and satisfied by this hotel, the staff, the rooms and service. The rating online does this place no Justice. Should be upgraded soon I hope. I want to give a very heartfelt thank you to all the staff including the room service folks but more to the front desk staff who were so accommodating. These are Lesley, Abby, Lorena & Letty.
