Maingate Kissimmee Hotel

"Rooms were in disrepair, broken chairs, rusted door. We were out of town for a couple of days and came back to find our trash can dumped on the bathroom counter. Whoever did that removed the trash can from the room. I would not recommend staying at this facility."

"Where should I start? First of all don’t believe the photos for this motel. Lake is dried up, rooms are in horrible condition and roaches everywhere. I paid $700 for 3 rooms 3 nights with King size beds. Upon check in I was given double full size beds and told Kings were not clean even though it was 4pm. I was told that they would change them out for Kings once clean. Upon arriving in the rooms, one had roaches crawling around the remote on the dresser, one was not clean and had toothpaste on on the sink and chairs on the bed and bed not made. The other room door would not close properly and also had roaches. These were the double full size beds that they call queen beds. After waiting 6 hours, we were given the three rooms with King beds and OMG they were far worse than the doubles. Dirty carpet, smell like mildew and weed, slimy stuff near one refrigerator, bugs and roaches, broke cabinets where refrigerator was at, sofa was nasty and in bad condition. I immediately ran back to the front desk demanding better rooms. Was given 3 more Kings which were just as bad. They were on the lower level were people were smoking weed outside and sitting in the hotel chairs from their rooms (Yes really this was happening) They didn’t have any Kings in decent condition so we had to go back to 2 of the doubles and keep one King. I couldn’t go to another real hotel because $700 was tied up and half with Agoda. I was told to get a refund through Agoda and Main Gate only provided a $40 refund. The same night Keys stopped working on King door and Maintenance didn’t fix it until 3pm the next day by wedging a screwdriver through the lock. After requesting a refund through Agoda we were told that Emily at the front desk stated that we could only get a refund for one day because we stayed on the property until 3pm. “What The Heck, Are you kidding me?” Our stuff was locked in the room and Maintenance didn’t show up until 3pm with a screwdriver to unlock the door because keys were not working. Also we had 2 other rooms so how dare she lie like that to Agoda in order to steal our money. I hate this place and it was the worse experience ever while staying at a hotel which was actually a motel. Do not go here unless you want roaches in your things and to follow you home because they were in my trunk on my kid’s keyboard. They also crawled from outside under the motel door. The young guy at the front desk was cool but Emily is a liar. Pool was nice but that’s it. Management hides in the back because Everyone want to go off about their room condition. Police even had to be called because the motel was trying to steal a guest security deposit."

It offers a great pool area, easy booking, and a check-in experience that's as relaxed as can be. The friendly and understanding attendants made me feel at home, and the unbeatable price range made it an incredible value for the quality of the accommodations. "If I could give zero stars, I would. This hotel is horrible! Place needs to be shut down by the health dept. Cockroaches in the room, unclean room, and rude staff members. Apparently their system went down and they told us to vacate the room because they ASSUMED we didn't pay for our stay meanwhile we prepaid through Expedia. Didn't even bother to check the backlog and instead kept coming to the room harassing us. We left and I'm disputing the charges with my bank, place is ATROCIOUS and staff clearly don't understand the concept of customer service."

"The location is terrible, the room had a strong smell, didn't look a safe place. They have a young kid at the reception that was lying the whole time we were asking for a refund. We were 2 hrs baxk and forth with the refund deal. I don't recommend this place. They need so much work in the rooms and have better customer service. In my opinion should close it!"
