"Yes the fire alarm goes off a fair few times - there are three restaurants in the building, and if the alarm is a false alarm it is off within minutes and you have an email from the leasing office explaining it. You won’t find a safer, more secure building in downtown. I have not worried about neighbor noise, I have laundry in my unit, I have parking close by and secure. The building charges flat utilities and even adds cable and internet to that. I’m happy as a resident, and I think most people will be too."

"Tried posting this a year ago and it didn’t show up so I’m posting it again: I wish I had heeded the wisdom of previous reviewer Kennedy when I saw their review for the Kenmore Apartments. The aesthetic finishes and thin walls aren’t even the issue, it’s the damn fire alarm. The fire alarm goes off ALL OF THE TIME. I am literally writing this review outside the building at 3AM while the alarm is destroying any ounce of hope I had had for sound sleep. I literally heard the firefighter mumble “it’s the same apartment every time” when I walked in…this seems nutty but it gets nuttier when you realize that the alarm really does go off between 2AM and 4AM at least twice a month. It seems the firefighters are so used to these false alarms they’re able shut off the blaring sirens within 2 minutes of arriving. If I could go back in time and encourage myself to move elsewhere, I would. Hindsight is 20/20 Update 5/8/22: we’ve had 4 fire alarms go off from when this review was posted…4 more wildly unnecessary alarms within two weeks. I am shocked they keep getting people to move in."

"This place is awful. Mice infestation in the building which you guessed it.. show up in your apartment. Let me add they pretend to know nothing about said mice problem and act like they “don’t know where they’re coming from”. Oh and they also tour your apartment and then leave it unlocked all day long because they “forgot” to lock it. Leaving all of your belongings in an unlocked apartment. How professional."

"If I can give you one piece of advice it’s dont. I know they seem like the only place to live in Albany but keep looking. They are awful. Fire alarms go off weekly always between 2-4am, getting ahold of someone is literally impossible. They have an excuse for every single thing, it’s awful. It’s been the worlds longest year trying to get ahold of a company that I pay $1000+ And never get a response, and when they do it’s always rude. They showed my apartment on a day I was out of town got back 2 days later to find out they never locked my apartment back up. I reached out and told someone: no answer. Took me 3 weeks to get a parking garage space after literally spam texting someone, even if you want to give them your money they still won’t answer. Take your money and spend it else where I promise."
