"Front desk staff were not friendly. Heat in my room barely worked, it remained at 65 but felt a draft from the window. The maintenence person was the only friendly hotel staff. They came to my room and brought a space heater. No free breakfast. Save you're money and visit a different hotel."

"I stayed at Hilton Albany for the weekend and it was amazing , I was greeted by such an amazing front desk receptionist named Ms. Star. She assisted us with the greatest smile & answered any and all questions that I had. I shared my fear of elevators and she reassured me that the elevators are safe and would not have any problems in using them with a smile. Ms. Star was truly a pleasure to have as our front desk receptionist. She knew the facility well and was confident when answering questions & giving directions. My family and I were able to check in early to our rooms and the rooms were nice & clean. I want to give Star my personal thanks for being the blessing and great person assisting us during our stay."

"This hotel was nice. The atmosphere was vibrant and bright. The staff was helpful and courteous. Rooms were large and clean. Bathrooms were nice, and the water pressure was good. There are nice places to eat and drink close by, and if you don't feel like going anywhere, they have a bar inside the establishment. Overall grade A good job."

"The hotel itself is in a great location. Within easy walking distance of where we wanted to go, parking at the hotel garage was also easy. The room itself was nothing special, but was clean. The room stayed very hot all night, even with the heat turned off. The room was almost 80 degrees for most of the night. Overall we would stay here again, but probably only when the AC is on vs the heat."

"Executive floor room was very clean, though old. However, room had peeling ceiling, the intake pulling away the heated output before it could warm the room consistently. Set at 76 degrees, couldn't get it warmer than 72, and by the windows it couldn't have been more than 68-70 degrees. The gel soap container was almost empty. The towels are scratchy and thin (old?). No extra blanket. The front office and desk staff were super helpful and friendly, making us feel welcome and valued as a customer. The housekeeping staff were responsive and courteous. The restaurant staff were friendly. The server seemed a bit distracted. Breakfast food was nice and warm, coffee was fresh and hot. Very good location, accessible to many downtown activities and locations."
