"Had a fabulous stay, albeit short (just one night), and plan to stay here again in the future. Staff were very helpful, friendly, and communicative from the time of making the reservation to the moment we left. I loved the house and the vibe, the night we were there was drizzly and a wee bit foggy, reminded me of the movie Gaslight :) And the peach tart at breakfast was braw!"

"A well furnished Bed & Breakfast in a beautifully historic area of Albany. A convenient walk to the Capital District sites as well as several bars and restaurants. The breakfast was adequate. Important to know - it is a walk-up with rooms on the second, third and fourth floors! Also, not really necessary to pay extra for the "Park View" as ours was through a very small window and was obscured by nearby trees."

"Had a wonderful experience when we stayed recently for our anniversary. Great view of the park across the street. Our room was immaculate and very spacious. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. Great location. Highly recommend."

"Checking in at the Morgan State House was quick and easy, very polite host, he did not introduce himself though and I forgot to ask. He was wearing a mask every time I saw him so very conscientious about keeping his guests safe. We stayed in a suite two doors down from The Brownstone. Classy period Decor, very clean, great water pressure which sometimes is questionable in these old buildings. Loved the soft sheets, all of our furniture was very comfortable. Great location also! Walking distance to so many things and right across the street from the park which is absolutely beautiful."

"This is a beautiful old brownstone building and the interior of the lobby and dinning area is very much in keeping with the era. The service was good and friendly making us feel at home from the outset. We were in the annex a couple of doors down from the main house. The room was clean and well presented but the bed really did not live up to expectations. The most uncomfortable night with little sleep. It was so bad my wife ended up sleeping on the floor."
