"I worked here for about a year (in two non-consecutive chunks) and I think it's the best part-time retail job. There are a lot of fun people who work there which can help make the shifts pass by pleasantly. If you love the clothes, it's a win-win situation because the employee discount is better than any other retail store's employee discount. This is the only Madewell store in the western NY area so I hope it stays there for a while!"
"DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY !!! I bought a pair of Sherpa Slippers for my daughter and they intermingled the addresses-billing and send to. I paid $20.00 to have them sent to the correct address across the country and the Customer Service for the Company said, ":Not our fault , not our problem." They blamed it on me! When I had the information right in front of me. EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!"
"Clothing was great. Not the same old stuff. Looks well made, pretty and fresh. If I needed a gift for a younger person this is the right store. Very nice. Staff was friendly and welcoming, even though I am not their target audience (I am 60)."
"I owned my last pair of jeans (my only pair of jeans) for 3 years. They survived multiple wears and walking many miles per week. Their quality is amazing. The sales associates are wonderful. The associate I worked with walked me through all the different options within my specifications, and even noticed that I was wearing jeans that were too big (which the previous store had not). She walked me through what to look for, and what might work for me, picking style after style and size after size. Despite trying on, seemingly, a lot of pairs of jeans, I was in and out quickly because the associate was so great in getting me everything. Their jeans cost more than some places, but I will never shop anywhere else as long as their jeans keep working for me."
"It's a small store with a small range of jean sizes. Wish they carried petite jeans in stock. Nice small collection of tops that vary periodically."
