"I guess I didn't look like I had money. I wasn't greeted and had to asked to be cashed out. The guy came behind the counter to get hangers looked at me then walked away while I waited for assistance. This was a horrible experience. The manager stated I will bring this up in our nightly staff meeting. I asked "are you going to have a conversation with yourself? Because your the one who looked at me and walked to the back room. I was appalled and disrespected I'm considering canceling my credit card!"

"As a result of my closet consisting mainly of suits and a small amount of comfortable, relaxing clothing, I decided to visit Banana Republic in Eastview Mall to simply expand my wardrobe. Despite my subconscious tendency to dress like a "bum," I am a professional and am well regarded in my field. Upon entering this location, I was greeted by a woman; I do not recall her name, but she was approximately 5'6", had brown hair, glasses and a lisp. This woman would not leave me alone. After I explained to her that I am just looking for clothing, she said okay and left me alone... less than two minutes later she approached me once again to ask me about clothing. Then, without my asking, she decided to start picking out clothing that I should buy. Well, I thought that maybe she was going to leave me alone after I explained to her, for the third time, that I was just looking at the clothes, but that wasn't so. She told me that I need to buy shoes, because my shoes don't look good. She then brought out two pairs of shoes that would never fit me. Then, after I told her that I did not want any shoes, she asked me if I would try on some women's shoes that they have in the back of the store. I know what was going on. I am well aware of what she was implying throughout the entirety of the horrible events that transpired during my visit to Banana Republic in Victor: that I was only there to shoplift. I don't know what irritated me more, the fact that she wouldn't leave me alone, or that she was only doing so due to her assuming that I am a shoplifter per my attire for that day. Well lady, I really do not appreciate your behavior. It was insulting, disrespectful and embarrassing. Out of the many people in the store, you chose to harass me for ten minutes. By the way, I drove to Henrietta and bought three outfits and a jacket from that location. While there, one person asked me if I needed help, to which I replied that I was only looking... nothing more happened. I picked out some clothing that I liked over the next thirty or forty minutes, PAID for the clothing, and then left."
