"Emily is a HORRIBLE LANDLORD. Apartment flooded due to a broken pipe she knew about because she doesn't take care of her properties and she never repaired it. STAY CLEAR DO NOT RENT!!"
"I don’t usually do reviews but I feel it necessary to warn the next individual attempting to rent from Emily Menn. This landlord refused to complete repairs from extreme water damage including not replacing water logged Sheetrock, flooring that had 3-4 inches of water nor any repainting. Even though I requested she at the very least fix the peephole which the “maintenance worker” Guinevere installed. Btw that’s the only other review on here because I’m lieu of paying rent she pretends to work on apartments yet…none were completed in mine. Also, don’t expect you full security deposit back regardless of the 14 day law. It took about three months, contacting the attorney general office as well as including a third party advocate agency. It’s difficult to present a case for a racist landlord in court, just a heads up for any person of color looking to rent in Troy. STAY CLEAR"
"I've rented from DHR Properties for roughly eight years now and never want to leave. Amazing historical apartments with many original architectural features from the 1800s!!! There's a big sense of community and neighbors are friendly and helpful."
