"The check-in staff were great. But we had some issues with the cleanliness of our room and when we brought it to the attention of the staff we were informed they were going to have their AGM handle it. However, not a single thing was ever done to fix our issues at the hotel. Wouldn't return or reccomend."

"The rooms and the location are fine - but the service at this hotel is an absolute joke. I used them for my wedding block and would NOT recommend for anyone trying to organize a group of people. I called the hotel back in October to inquire about adding more rooms to my block as I only had 10 rooms originally. I was told there were still rooms available and that they would reach out to me next month with an update on the room status so we could discuss then. Next month I called and the person at the desk told me they didnt know what I was talking about - they didnt even see a block of rooms reserved for my group. Eventually they found it, and only 4-5 rooms were listed as reserved within my block. This seemed odd since I knew of about 10 people who had booked. Im upset that a handful of my guests were overcharged most likely, and I also wanted to be able to leave gift bags for my guests and was unable to being that more than 1/2 of them were booked outside of the block. As annoying as this was, not the end of the world. If this is where the errors stopped, I wouldn't even be writing this review. I was paying for 2 of the rooms for my guests. I had booked them online and then called to make sure that they would be charged to the card I booked them to, and not the guest's responsibility upon check in. Low and behold, upon check in, my guests were charged and the card on file was not used. I showed up at the hotel to sort out payment, and to drop off gifts for my bridesmaids staying at the hotel... I asked SPECIFICALLY that the gift bag be handed to 2 of the guests upon check in - and stressed that there were things inside the bag needed for the wedding the following morning. I was ensured this wouldn't be a problem. Neither bags were given to them and we had to go on a wild goose chase to find them. I worked at the front desk of a hotel for 10 years. I did this exact job for a literal decade. Brides and group blocks in general were always a top priority - and its very clear this is not how this hotel works. Very disappointed that the day before my wedding they caused all of this unnecessary chaos - and for the weeks leading up to the wedding they were disorganized and radio silent with communicating with me."

"Everyone speaks highly of the cleanliness in their reviews of this hotel but we didn’t have the same experience on floor 3. The shower had a black coating where you stand and the AC unit looks like it has never been serviced. Mirrors covered in dust."

"Had no issues at this hotel, it was clean and nice. It's been updated fairly recently and had the amenities one would expect. We had a nice view of the Hudson from our room. There are a lot of restaurants and shops within walking distance, though I would say in some cases it's not the nicest area to be walking. Overall it was a great place to stay."

"Beautiful new hotel near Albany, NY. It sits on the banks of the Hudson River, and is one of the newer style Courtyards. Everything about this property is gorgeous. The beds are super comfortable, and the pillows are supportive. There is a mini-fridge in the cupboard, and a coffee-maker like most rooms. The showers are designed to have an open area, without a door. I prefer showers with doors, as it helps to keep the warm air inside, but this seems to be the trend in new shower design. The fitness room is one of the nicer ones I’ve seen. They have multiple treadmills, and a bike. A nice cable rack and a full collection of dumbbells. Everything needed to keep up your faintness routine. A few things for improvement: the staff isn’t the most friendly here. Front desk could brighten up their demeanor a bit, but again, it’s a small thing. The hotel isn’t in the nicest part of town and everything is on lock down. You can’t get into the building without your room key, or take the elevators without them. Pretty standard stuff in big cities, but this isn’t a big city. The area is just now going through gentrification, so the parking lot is a bit sketchy, but we never had any issues. This should not influence you’re decision about this hotel. It’s a super nice property and you’ll enjoy your stay here."
