Delta Hotels by Marriott Richmond Downtown

"Great location and overall a nice stay. Jasmine, at the front desk was very warm, professional and helpful. The staff as a whole here was very nice. Room was nice and clean, bed was comfy. Convenient location to multiple parts of Richmond and parking is very easy. Only deducting one star due to the fitness center. It was a bit dirty, and had a broken piece of furniture inside of it. The hot tub also appeared to be broken."

"I recently stayed at the Delta Hotel in Richmond, and while the overall experience was satisfactory, there were some aspects that left me with mixed feelings. Upon arrival, I was impressed by the modern and stylish lobby, and the staff seemed friendly and welcoming. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, meeting the expectations I usually have for a hotel of this caliber. However, my experience took a hit when I needed to obtain my folio for the recent stay. Unfortunately, the process was marred by extended wait times on the phone. I found myself on hold for 15 minutes each time I called, and this happened multiple times. The frustration of being kept waiting for such a basic service detracted from the overall positive aspects of my stay. While I understand that hotels can experience busy periods, the extended hold times were certainly a downside. It is my hope that the management takes note of this issue and works to improve their communication systems, ensuring a more efficient and streamlined process for guests trying to access important documents like their folio. Despite this hiccup, I believe the Delta Hotel in Richmond has the potential to provide a great guest experience. With a little attention to improving their customer service processes, I'm confident that future guests will have a more seamless and enjoyable stay."

"The staff made our stay here amazing! I could not walk through the lobby without Mesijah asking how I was and if I needed anything. He always had the the biggest smile on his face and just seemed like he loved being there. Then there was Mr. O, who shuttled us each evening. He took the time to show my husband some places to go during the day, while I was in class and really got to know us. We felt like friends by the time we left. The other drivers were great as well, we just didn't spend the same amount of time with them, but so kind! It was nice to park and not have to drive in an unfamiliar area, since the hotel shuttle was always available. The rooms were clean, and well stocked. I would definitely stay here again if in the area!!"

"We had a wonderful experience. Room was very comfortable and clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Most importantly, Mr. O, the hotels head of transportation was the kindest, most helpful gentleman. If you need ANYTHING while you're staying in Richmond, ask for Mr O. If he can't find what you need, he knows someone who can."

"Decent hotel. Things were clean and the location was perfect for our meetings. There were a few things that were irritating and the staff could have been trained to be a bit more professional and accommodating. Gary, their shuttle driver is awesome though. He just needs a new shuttle as it broke down while we were out. He came and picked us up in his personal car so we were not stuck. Great service."
