"This joint is a straight nasty money grab. Decent accommodations, although there is some question as to whether or not the sheets were changed from the last guest, mostly due to the stains on the sheets and comforter. Also got to play a fun family game of "Guess Where the Blood Stains on the Floor Came From". Holes in the sheets provided adequate ventilation throughout the night. Not sure if its a booger on the ceiling or not, but at this point, Im not taking any chances. There's at least a dozen signs posted because they want to MAKE SURE you know that you have to PAY FOR PARKING. Breakfast advertised until 10, but really only available until 930. Decent breakfast selection, if you can find it stocked, which is challenging. Every corner has been cut, every loophole exploited to MAKE SURE they maximize their profits, while stiffing the guest. $5 water available in the room if you feel like you just REALLY need to be ripped off some more. Probably not actually a homeless encampment next to this place.... It's just people who wisely refused to stay here."

"Soft beds and pillows, great deal for price. TVs in odd/inconvenient place. Bathroom is very narrow. Pull out sofa is atrocious. Loved sink and mini-fridge, very quiet for sleep. Great staff! Loved the breakfast!"

"This property is always a pleasant experience. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The property itself has some of the cleanest well decorated rooms around. My favorite place to stay in Richmond. Even the high traffic common areas are spotless and that is almost always a problem at hotels. Through not downtown the ride to get downtown is maybe 10-15 minutes.Highly recommended."

"We stayed for a week with the Hyatt and this was a wonderful experience. The staff here is simple amazing and so sweet. Each day we were greeted, doors were opened for us, and if we needed something it was taken care of. Staying here daily we seen how they kept this hotel so clean. I would see daily wipe downs of almost everything here. Breakfast was hot and really good as well. The only downside of the whole stay was paying for parking. Just be prepared for that on top of your room charge. We would definitely stay here again."

"Looks much nicer online, especially for the $300 per night rate. The room was OK. Spacious but sometimes awkward. The bathroom was extremely small with the toilet crammed in next to the small shower. When I arrived after driving for 7 hours, they had cancelled my reservation because it was late and I never called (Thanksgiving travel). As per the email I received earlier that day, I checked into my room using the Hyatt app. The guy at the front desk told me I hadn't. I was also informed by staff "that is the policy at every hotel." I've stayed at a ton of hotels and have never had a reservation dumped because of my arrival time. Luckily there was still a room available but it was still one of the rudest hotel welcomes I've experienced. I will not be staying there again."
