Comfort Inn Midland South I-20

"me and my boyfriend stayed at this hotel this past weekend. the “manager” chris made me feel very uncomfortable. i checked in alone at 2:30am and he insisted going up to the room to check if someone was in there. when he found that no one was he still proceeded to come in and shut the door while lingering around the room. every time i came into the hotel while he was working he would happen to have to go to the elevator. we booked an extra night where the front desk lady told us she would have her manager change the price and give us a refund which was never given. my boyfriend works nights and would have to sleep during the day and in the morning the cleaning ladies were very loud would bang on our door and even open it while we were trying to sleep. we requested a late check out and as we were leaving the room we came in contact with chris who was very unprofessional and had a mouth on him toward my boyfriend who was just telling him we were on our way out. i should also just put that if someone is a “manager” at a hotel they should also dress professional and not sag their pants. overall we will not be returning to this hotel and would still like our refund for the extra night!"

"DO NOT STAY HERE!!! They added a $45 charge to my bill for a dirty towel! We checked in at 9:30 on a Saturday night and were leaving by 6:30 Sunday morning. Had enough time to wash our faces, brush our teeth, sleep a couple hours and get back to the tournament we were in. When we got there the people working were outside smoking not even attending the front desk. Shortly after we got checked in the elevator broke down and the air in our room never worked. Since we were only there for a short time, I kindly informed them that the air wasn't working in room 319, as we were leaving. What did I get for that ... a "damage fee" for a "stained big and small towel" .... Pretty sure when you wash towels, makeup comes out of them! I mean every other hotel I have ever stayed in hasn't had this issue! That is the only thing that the 1 washcloth, was used for. So you will be charged for dirty towels, it seems. And don't try to get ahold of management ... every time I called I was met with "he's not here yet and he's off on Sunday." No manager at all for a whole weekend?? I was told to call again on Monday ... I'm gonna bet he's still not there when I call. So disappointing because we have stayed here every year we come for this tournament but NEVER AGAIN!! I would advise that no one else stay here either, unless you want to be ripped off!"

"Room was clean. Pool was closed, exercise room was missing low pound weights and treadmill did not have power cord. Breakfest was mediocre. Juice dispenser didn't work. Not sure if this stop is to be repeated."

"ALTHOUGH the location is great and at check in the lady up front was easy to work with handling an issue with my reservation. We were never informed that their water heater was out. Not told nor are there signs posted!! She told me it had gone out today and they were put on a "repair waiting list" but just spoke with another guest and they were told it went out yesterday and there are reviews about the same thing. Unfortunately I didn't read the reviews or I would not have booked here. Not ok especially with a small child. Do not make the same mistake as me!"
