“I do not normally leave reviews, but this is a truly exceptional hotel, the cleanliness, decoration, comfort, food, service and hospitality are the very best I have experienced. Couple this to the fine seventeenth century building and its well-kept grounds make any stay a unique experience. My wife and I enjoyed every moment and really did not want to leave. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts Adrian and Mark. If you are looking for a getaway that is elegant, peaceful and quiet you will not be disappointed.”

“We can’t really comment on the selling aspect as the house sold before it was officially advertised however, the process leading up to completion was excellent. Tim found the buyers and then Tom handled process thereon. The house sale was particularly distressing for us however Tom was extremely personable, professional, tactful, and always available to help which was a huge help. “Had a lovely afternoon tea here for 4 of us for a mini hen party. The setting is gorgeous. Unfortunately it was raining so we couldn't be outside but the rooms inside are afternoon tea perfect. Food was lovely, cakes are delicious and all the staff were so friendly and helpful. We even got to meet Buddy! Highly recommended”
