“Where do I begin with Royal Berkshire Hotel? In summary, I had a birthday party organised for around 85 guests in December and it was a great decision to use them! I had a beautiful lady Le Tran support me every step of the way. She bent over back to make sure my event was organized to the way I wanted it. She was extremely polite, patient and she listened. Very important. Prior to using them, I was very nervous as I had been totally messed around with Denham Grove hotel. I'll review them later but my advice will be stay clear of Denhame Grove to avoid disappointment! Back to Royal Berkshire Hotel,  on the day, staff were available to ensure everything was a success. The FOOD was Amazing! All my guests were impressed by the flavor, quality and quantity. It tasted delicious. There was a young guy (i think Anthony) who was on ground with the manager in charge to help with ensuring my event room was arranged to how I wanted it. Thank you! The bedrooms were also beautiful. Everything about this little gem of a hotel made my day so easy. Nothing seemed like too much trouble and all the staff I met were helpful and friendly. My guests took over 20 rooms in the hotel and we were able to have breakfast together. Again, there was a good selection of breakfast options and staff were able to accomodate our party size and available to support. My guest were really impressed by the hotel and their service and will highly recommend for weddings and larger events. We met one of the morning Chef (Nicky) and it was lovely for myself and a couple of my guest to chat with her. Staff look like they enjoyed working there from those on reception to the waiters. We didn't feel any form of discrimination or hostility. If I need to, I will certainty use them again in the future and will certainly plan a mini break back there. Thank you!!!”

“We visited today for afternoon tea, to celebrate a birthday. The whole experience was completely faultless. The food was lovely and the staff were friendly and very welcoming. The hotel itself is a lovely place with a very comfortable feel to it. I’m already looking forward to my next visit. A very easy 5 stars.”

“Great family stay. Room was big with a second room for the kids to sleep in, already made up. Super clean and staff very helpful. Electric car charger was easy to get to and working with a decent charge rate. Had Christmas lunch, good value and very nice. Will stay again 100%”

“My husband & I had a meal in the restaurant last night. The food was great & priced reasonably. We are vegetarian/ vegan and there was great choice, even a delicious vegetarian pie! The service was provided by a lovely friendly girl. We then went on to listen to the live band ( really good sound) & did some dancing ! Only comment was that a couple of the patrons were getting very drunk and being a nuisance on the small dance area.( May be should have been politely asked to leave & no more drinks served?) Really recommend this lovely pub & well done to its new owners …thank you & as we live local, we will definitely return soon.”

“Huge fan Spanish food so thought I would give this place a try for lunch on a Saturday. Really pleased I did. Loved the modern take on traditional Spanish Tapas. Ordered 6 items from the Tapas menu between two adults and each one was fantastic. Had kids with us too and they all cleared their plates although these were more traditional Brit offerings of burgers and sausage. One of the kids has a soya allergy and the waitress provided an allergens chart which was very helpful. Will return and highly recommend!”

“My wife and I have visited the Crown and Anchor on a few occasions since the new owners have taken over and always had a lovely time but have never sampled the food. On Saturday 1st October we booked lunch with 9 family members to get together for my dads birthday who we sadly lost 13 years ago. The food was out of this world, all home cooked. I had the cheese burger which I have to say was up there with the best I have ever had. Lasagna, pizzas, Halloumi burger and the liver and bacon were ordered (dads favourite, which my mum had and said was incredible, her words). Everyone said how amazing their food was. (Kids food was great too). The beers we ordered were perfect, these guys really do know what they are doing.m when it comes to pouring the perfect pint. Can’t rate and thank Wendy and her team highly enough. Nothing was too much, we really did feel like royalty. The tribute to dad was incredible. It was the perfect place to go with Wendy and her Husband Marco being Crystal Palace fans as so are we as a family. Wendy put a palace scarf on the table and put a pint there for dad. It’s these sort of touches that mean so much. We told them we would be bringing our German Shepherd with us and we couldn’t believe what they did, a lovely bed at the end of the table for him to chill in. We also ordered a lovely dinner for him which he really enjoyed. Such a lovely dog friendly pub. The play kids area is amazing, kept the little ones entertained for ages. Wendy even set up an art and craft table for the two little ones while we had our lunch as they had theirs first, again kept them entertained. She ended up being like the pied piper with all the kids in the pub following her around. She took them down to the river that runs along the back of the amazing garden to feed the ducks and swans. So way and above. Again, thank you so much guys for the most amazing afternoon, we really can’t thank you enough. I urge everyone to try this pub, you will not be disappointed. And lastly let’s not forget the barman (sorry, didn’t catch your name), amazing service, always remembered each round and couldn’t do enough for us. One last thing, The Crown and Anchor take food allergies really seriously, there are no nuts on the premises, so if any of you have an allergy, another reason to try this wonderful pub. “Fantastic Stay Joanne the manager is priceless, all the staff are chatty and fantastic. Second time I have stayed at The Kings Arms. This time with my family and we booked the family suite Double Bed and bunk beds for the kids in a seperate room, Great bathroom with big bath and shower. Breakfast was fabulous and cooked fresh to order. Have recomended the hotel to friends and clients alike 10/10”

“We had a fantastic stay at the Brooklands hotel. The rooms are very nice, with plenty of space for our family, great restaurant with a very good menu and quality. The biggest plus is the staff, from the General Manager Marco to the rest of the staff, especially David and Ester. They do their best to make you feel at home, very nice people and professional, they even gifted our kids with hotel gadgets. “We ended up staying here last minute after a terrible experience with a different hotel that was so overpriced and dirty and disappointing we decided to cancel it on the spot. We then walked around looking for another hotel that had space. So glad we found this one. Really clean, modern rooms and the staff were all super friendly and welcoming. Big shout out to Victor for helping us with the initial check in and also for his help many times with any requests we had while traveling with a young baby. We only stayed one night but we'll be back if we ever need to stay in that area in London. The hotel is very convenient with many supermarkets, pubs cafes all within short walk. Thanks again to Victor and all the staff at merit - we had a really restful stay thanks to you all!”

“I keep coming back to this wonderful B&B. Its a home away from home. Its cosy, homely and with the beautiful Hampstead Heath at your doorstep you get a pleasant view, walk and sound as many birds call the Heath their home. Rosy is a very lovely, welcoming host, who is always happy to help. When i arrived the first time my flight was delayed to the very late evening and Rosy gladly waited for me. The breakfast ist traditionally English. Love the poached eggs on asparagus. Its a good little menu. Rooms and bathrooms are clean and provide you with everything needed. And since the prices are very reasonable i couldnt ask for anything more and recommend this to anyone who is after a home away from home in the London buzz. Oh yes its also very well located...15 min walk to next tube station...Golders Green ( Northern Line).”

“I've stayed at new road quite a few times and I always enjoy my stay. The staff are friendly and I love the games room. It can get noisy at times due to the area but I always ask for a quieter room towards the back of the hotel. Restaurant food is hit and miss but the servers are great. I booked this hotel directly by contacting them and they were kind enough to offer a discounted price for which is far less than the one quoted by the websites, which i generally use to book hotels. Though it is bit far from the Heathrow airport , The hotel is just infront of Seven Kings station and is a very good choice for tourists who want to stay in a budget yet decent hotel and roam around London.They provide good continental breakfast and also there are few food outlets nearby serving Pakistan/Indian kind of food.The staff was very supportive and i highly recommend this hotel.”

“We visited here for Afternoon Tea with Father Christmas. We were a large group of 10 (adults and children). The venue was beautifully decorated for the festive season. Food was delicious and offered alternatives for the vegetarians in our group. Joe Banana was the entertainer for the afternoon and he did not disappoint. The Father Christmas was very good. Plenty of activities for the children to keep them occupied. Would definitely return.”
