Reviews
"Good location, so near to Old Amersham which is a very nice small town. But our room was very disappointing considering the price. It looked very tired and unloved. Mould on the bathroom ceiling and walls, unclean, old shower, dirty window blind, broken sink plug, and lightbulbs not working in the main bedroom area, cobwebs everywhere and carpet was gross. Breakfast was average at best. It served a purpose for one night as we were attending a funeral the following day, but definitely wouldn't recommend or stay again, sorry."
"What a great night. They had live music with a duos that was first class. We had a meal and it was one of the best pub meals I have had in years. We live some distance from it but we are going all the way back just to try their Sunday roast."
"Clearly this placed is overpriced for what we got. Worse then a hostel Extremely cold noisy, filthy small plugs unsafe. Shower unuseable. Damp... do not stay here. Breakfast was advertised till 10.30... we went at 10 and was refused breakfast which was included in the price... so we paid but didn't receive. It lets Amersham down. Refurbishment needed urgently. Staff not interested. We paid for 2 people staying... only one mug kettle awful basically facilities are non existent"
"Dirty, damp and damaged room, clearly some are nice the one we had was terrible. Staff not really interested. Full of locals, not exactly a WARM welcome. Wont be staying with them again. One star seems a bit of an over rating to be honest"
"Really lovely place to stay, very friendly atmosphere with great staff more than ready to help or do anything to make your stay the best experience ever. Great outdoor areas to chill and relax with a nice cold drink Food very good, nice choice. Super location with lovely walks, shops, restaurants and pubs near by. You will not be disappointed. Can wait to go again."
