New Mansion House (Lancaster Gate)
● Open“Arief stood out during my stay. He had the perfect balance of friendliness and professionalism. There were several staff/volunteers that cleaned my room. However, I knew that when Arief cleaned the room, it would be done to the highest standard. Additionally, I would like to commend the reception staff. They are always happy to help.”

And all the facilities in the building are well maintained including good access control to building, floor and the room. Macdonald Windsor Hotel
● Open“So close to Windsor Castle, it is literally across the road. The staff are so helpful and ready to have a chat and help with information on what to see and where to eat. They helped with parking as well. Chris, Ali and Matthew were standout staff members and all respectful of their colleagues. We were able to walk everywhere. The Castle was closed so we would love to go back and stay here again. Thank you to all the staff at the McDonald Windsor Hotel you are exceptional.”

Down Hall Hotel & Spa
● OpenMatching Road, Hatfield Heath, Bishop's Stortford CM22 7AS, United Kingdom“- Amazing building and grounds. I was expecting it to be a tad run down given it’s an historic building but it really is in immaculate condition and we’ll decorated with a lot of character. Love the big room with chandelier and fireplace. - Food was all amazing. We had 3 course dinner & breakfast included in our stay, which was great value. If you were paying a la carte prices it’s a tad expensive, but everything we ate was superb. Upgraded to scallops and a steak one night that was as good as I’ve had! - We paid for the wet room spa which was brilliant. It’s £28pp but it’s small and you’re not in there with loads of other people. However, the hotel itself has a small sauna and steam room that’s free but isn’t well advertised. - lots of functions going on but we really couldn’t tell which is really impressive! Minor points for improvement: - We we’re told by the front desk that the walks around the grounds were open but they weren’t. - Some people at breakfast weren’t aware you can order things off a menu as well as the buffet. We ordered waffles one morning that took over 30 min and a bacon roll was forgotten - One of the pillows in the room was a bit old and yellowed under the protective cover, and the ceiling light was repaired with tape Overall a great stay and we’ll definitely recommend to friends!”

The Angel bar is great fun to go in the evening and enjoy music and cocktails. Richmond Hill Hotel
● Open“Very nice hotel, not too far from Kew Gardens and Richmond town centre. Up on the hill with some great views this place. Key highlights for me, we wanted to park for two nights as we were staying for a wedding and they only charged for one and gave the second day as complimentary. Also my partner forgot her mascara and the lady at the front desk was very helpful in letting her borrow hers! Not a service they normally offer I’m sure, but great of her to provide this. Beyond this, the beds were comfy, very cleanly and it was not noisy at all.”

Lamington Apartments
● Open“Stayed from 19 - 25 July, 3 pax (1 couple + 1 friend) Check in: Check in was relatively smooth, though we did have to wait for quite a bit for the room to be ready. By the time we managed to get the room it was about 4pm/4.30pm but our schedule was pretty relaxed so we weren't too bothered. Apartment: Apartment was lovely. We stayed in apartment 4 on the 3rd floor. It was very hot in the apartment but we did come in the middle of the heat wave (40degree summer) but once we opened the windows for ventilation, it was a lot better. One thing to note though was that the living room was definitely hotter than the bedrooms, little to no wind was flowing through the windows there. One bathroom among 3 people was definitely not the most ideal but wasn't a big issue. Though having separate hot/cold taps is not my favourite when trying to get the right temp for a shower. Washer/dryer was a lifesaver especially during the hot weather. Beds were pretty comfy and there was adequate wadrobe space though we didn't really utilise them. Location/Neighbourhood: Location was perfect. There were shops nearby for basic necessities and restaurants down the road if you wanted to eat out. Also for fitness people there were boutique gyms like 1 Rebel down the road and Fitness first as well as Pure Gym around the corner. Very easy walks to various lines with Hammersmith station 5-ish mins walk away which gets you on most lines. The other direction gets you to Goldhawk (?) station which is also like a 10+ min walk. Super convenient, would definitely recommend the apartments to groups/couples/families for your next trip!”
