“I took my partner here for afternoon tea on his birthday. We had an excellent time. The staff - Roxanne and Chris - went out of their way to welcome us and to make the experience feel special. The afternoon tea itself was fantastic with beautiful freshly prepared sandwiches and fresh warm scones (baked in-house). Highly recommend for dinner, lunch or a special occasion - we’ll be back soon!”

“Needed a table for 3, slight wait of 20 minutes, which I was informed about up front. Lovely hostess who on noticing I had a sore throat gave me a glass of water, really kind of her. Friends arrived and we were shown to the table. Used the app to order which us simple and straightforward. They had run out of corn so we were asked to choose an alternative, this was accomplished without fuss. Food arrived, hot and exactly as asked for. Service was swift, polite and didn't disturb our evening. Food we ordered was delicious and drinks were chilled.”

“The best pub in Richmond. So much effort was made over the Christmas period and hard working staff. Had a fabulous Sunday lunch, completely packed full, great atmosphere. Food was hot and delicious. Lucky to have this pub on our doorstep.”

The service was a bit slow thought because the place was very busy but the food was worth every second of wait.”

“This bar is a favourite of my wife we normally have a few drinks here on a Sunday if we are going for a buffet at a local Indian restaurant, the staff are very friendly and very welcoming,helpful, on a sunny day its nice to sit outside the regulars are also very friendly.the only down side about sitting out side are the beggar's asking for money or and cigarettes. But we'll worth a visit”

“One of the best places for whole and organic food. Hot buffet, cold salad and customized wraps if you want to have food all day. They have the best of products from all countries esp Olive oils. Amazing collection. I go here atleast once a month if not more.”

“Very friendly and very clean Staff always hepfull If they haven't got samething in store, they are always willing to get it in, next day or so. They have new food in like, fresh fruit. Grapes, pineapple bananas, pears cherys etc. Bread , wines, beers and tropical juices. Well worth a visit”

“Very much enjoyed a Christmassy afternoon tea. Visited for the second time. Lovely decor and atmosphere, wonderful desserts. Mains are very traditional British, meaning for most people they lack spices or even salt. The staff are great and friendly, but the place is always understaffed and the poor waiters are running around to try and serve the seated guests and the counter simultaneously. Of course that results in slow service. From my experience they also often don't have some items on the menu. While improvements could be made, I would recommend visiting the place at least once for the special experience.”

Delicious food with a good gluten free menu and gluten free flags on the GF plates so you know they are actually gluten free :) They staff were very friendly and were wearing masks to keep people safe which was very nice to see. “Excellent pub, from Sunday roast to drinks to customer service. We had a Sunday roast that was delicious, even the vegetarian one. We ordered a Bloody Mary and was really well done. The staff is responsive, nice and friendly. Raff can speak a little bit of many languages and Lawrence is the man you want when you are organising something. We are going to have our wedding party there with their amazing premises. Looking forward to live it. Definitely recommended.”

“Just undergone a complete refurb. Warm and inviting retaining its traditional pub feel. All the staff were friendly and helpful. “Loved this place. Rolled up on a Friday evening on a whim and they found a table for two of us. The food was excellent and great value for the amount we had. Excellent steaks and the Chorizo starter was incredible. The staff were great and the waitress who served us was very friendly and attentive. Will definitely go back.”

Even when they’re closed on I think Wednesdays and I’m craving Thai I’d rather make my own food than get Thai anywhere else. The food here is just that good. Staff are always super friendly, when ordering delivery they’re prompt, and you can always call them, they’re so polite over the phone.”
