"A nice pub in Richmond for drinks in couples or groups. We sat upstairs and they had lots of screens showing the football like downstairs seemed to, so good place for live football also. Good wine menu, but the portion size on the side order of chips for £5 was quite small."

"Stopped into The Old Ship for the first time earlier this week for lunch and a few pints with friends and I'm very glad we did. The service was friendly, the atmosphere was extremely charming, and the food was excellent. I recommend the "bacon and cheese puff pastry twirls" as well as the "pork and caramelised onion sausage roll." Will return next time I'm in the area, no doubt."

"Staff were very nice and helpful in choosing beers, unfortunately my roast meal was a bit salty, especially the gravy. +10 for presentation just food should not only look good, but taste good :) I'd probably give 4* not 5, but the bar staff were very nice, and service was very efficient, hence I hope that next time the gravy will be better :)"

"Really great food, lovely service and a nice location. Try to book a table in advance as it gets quite full. Definitely book in for a roast dinner, very tasty food. The vegan options are also delicious. Very reasonable prices and a good range of drinks. Some sports games on the TVs, toilets available, stairs to seating upstairs."
