"Fantastic pub! Food was really good, we had a pie and mash and fish and chips. Both served promptly and with a smile. Staff were friendly and helpful. Lovely view too over the green. Totally recommended!"

"I visited this pub on Sunday 27 November 2022. I was visiting Kew Gardens near by to see the Xmas lights, but as it started bucketing it down,I took the opportunity to slope off to the pub! The Cricketers is approximately 5 minutes walk from the Gardens Elizabeth Gate. As I have reduced mobility, it will be probably a couple of minutes, for anyone else. However, the only way I could see to enter the building was by a flight of approximately 6 steps , with a hand rail on either side of the entrance. This may be aesthetically pleasing but renders the place inaccessible to wheelchair users. There are tables and chairs on the terrace before you go through the front door and information that table service is available. The interior was warm and cozy. The indie piped music wasn't to my taste but I listened to my own rhythm and blues via my headphones. Got some looks from the few customers who had braved the showers but I have a thick skin! The toilets were on the ground floor next to the bar. They are not disabled accessible and on the night I visited , not particularly clean, with toilet paper on the cubicle floor. It seemed understaffed probably because of the lack of customers ,but the polite young staff need to get on top of regularly checking the toilets. However I would come here again , probably if I visit Kew Gardens in the daylight and on a dry day!"

"Warm welcome and excellent value. All mains under £20, which is incredible for a pub next to one of the gates into Kew Gardens. Our veggie gnocchi and fish & chips were both excellent."

"The bar sandwich menu is really good and reasonably priced. The fish goujon sandwich is delicious. Soft fresh bread and packet salad but tender and fresh, with a good dressing. Highly recommended for lunch .. don't know about dinner."
