Panas Twickenham
● Closed“What a wonderful place to eat. Service top notch and the food waves of spicy flavour. To start they brought out a complementary appetiser that was a crispy ball filled with herbs and you then pour in a small glass of tamarind liquid and pop the whole thing in your mouth. Wow! What a fantastic little experience! Then I had the chilli garlic mushrooms. Once you squeeze the lime over it the dish comes alive. Great flavours. For the main I went with the Chicken Khukuri with a garlic naan. Again a great choice. And as a final last nice touch they bring your hot towel out on a purpose built serving plate and add the hot water to it at the table. Great food, great service, great experience.”

It was my very first visit to the restaurant and I am happy to say that this place is now at the top of my favourites list. Delicious food, beautiful place and I can't fault the customer service, staff can't do enough and Lilideth is just amazing. I think it definitely deserves five stars!”

The Crown
● Closed“I have been to the Crown for casual evening drinks while sitting outside in their nice garden a couple of times but never been there for lunchtime or dinner. I finally had a chance to book a table (advisable because I tried to turn up in a couple of occasions and they were always full) and had a fantastic dining experience! The Rifleman
● Closed“This is the best pub I have discovered this century. Period. Steve, the bearded manager, was super friendly, humorous and could not do enough to advise on the beers and history of the place but also, importantly for us, transport home. He could not have been more accommodating and delightful. What enthusiasm! The like of which I haven’t seen from a publican or staff member in a pub in decades.”
-
Kathmandu Tandoori Twickenham
● Closed“This is our regular curry restaurant. We've been coming here for many years. It used to be called The Gurkha Kitchen but they changed the name, although the staff and menu remained the same. The food is well prepared, tasty and reasonably priced. I could just deduct one star as there are parts of the restaurant that could with a lick of paint, but as the food and friendly service are so good, I want to stick with a full star count. I can recommend it.”
-
The Albany Pub & Dining Room
● Closed“Another lovely evening at The Albany. Sitting outside to enjoy late summer al fresco dining while we still can as the evenings start to draw in. Fabulous and friendly service as always. Great cocktails and a Bang Bang Chicken burger, followed by a brownie and ice cream. Sheer bliss!”

Eel Pie Pub & Restaurant, Twickenham
● Closed“Went to this pub on a rugby day it was very busy, but it had great atmosphere. The bar staff were very quick and efficient and used to deal with all this well. We stayed in the little court yard garden at the back as we had someone who likes to vape. The garden can be accessed directly via a side alley very useful for disabled customers. A good pub, busy but lots of fun.”
-
Sushi Point - Twickenham
● Closed“Excellent aromatic flavours that taste authentic. This is no cheap imitation - it’s the real deal. The food fresh and of a high grade. Even after I left, the mesmerising taste taste stayed in my mouth. I definitely will be buying from there again. The premises are very clean and attractive. Something that is always reassuring in the food trade. I’m very fussy where I eat and found the food to be easy on my sensitive stomach.”

Twickenham Tandoori
● Closed“I've been going to Twickenham Tandoori with friends and family for more than 10 years now. The food is reliably excellent, the atmosphere is typically buzzing. This is where people want to go on a Friday night after they've been for a few drinks further up Church Street. In summertime you can dine in the picturesque street outside, in wintertime you're cosy indoors. Well served by excellent staff. I will keep going to this place as long as its doors remain open. It is fantastic and I love it. I'm most certainly not alone.”
