New Suburban Apartments

"Please do not move here. I would give no stars if I can. They tow your car for no reason. Try to charge you extra for rent . Always adding fees just to make any type of money. They left my sister and her baby in an apartment making her pay rent that didn’t have heat and no water because they have heating and plumbing issues is a lot of the buildings and they still expected rent on time . I advise everybody to call the city of Dekalb to report this property so they can be shut down. Also, contact the health department because by law yoru not required to pay rent anywhere when your living conditions are inhumane due to the property managers lack of accountability"

"Never lived here but wanted to warn other people. I was looking for something cheap in the area and found this place so I scheduled a showing. The demo apartments they showed were dirty and the bathrooms were dim and grungy looking. Even still, I applied for an apartment and they said I was approved the very next day. So I scheduled another showing to see which apartments would actually be available. Only, they never showed. I tried to contact them more than once and no one responded. The appointment I had was made for a Saturday, but when I checked the hours for the place it said their offices were closed Saturday and Sunday. Another group had showed up as well for a showing, so it wasn’t just me they’d done this to. I waited in the area much longer than needed to see if anyone would show up, and after a while I had to make the 2 hour drive back home. On top of that I’d already paid for the application fee, so it feel like they just took my money and dipped. I waited a while to see if anyone would reach out in any kind of way but no one has. This place is very unprofessional. After I read the reviews ( which yes, I certainly should have done ahead of time, but I was eager) I saw that some people had roaches and many people had mold and one person said they were suing the place for poor living conditions."

"I genuinely don’t know how this apartment complex is even open. I have caught 8 mice in the last 48 hours. These apartments are inhabitable and management does not care. Plus during the winter you will freeze to death unless you have your own space heater on 24/7. Even as a college student who signed a lease here due to a lack of options, I’m still disappointed. Garbage apartments"

"Right now it’s so cold in my apartment like they have completely turned the heat off. I had to turn on my oven which is also broken to get some heat it took a hour and a half to even get started. Not to mention my garbage disposal is broken and have been for two months I have been calling and the owner said that he will not replace it because it’s to expensive. So one side of my sink leaks and the other is just normal. Also in my shower there is a lot of molding so much that it’s sinking in I am so sick of this place and my lawsuit is in action."

"Pool hasn't been usable in 3 years. They will shut off your water or electric for days at a time to reduce the amount of usage since they offer "free" utilities. Playground has orange cones around it because it's dangerous. Maintenance men are convicted felons and have been arrested for robbing tenants apartments."
