"They don't answer their phones when I call. I tried to call every 30 mins and not once they pick les up the phone."
"Rent is raised annually, they make you sign a new lease every 6-8 months, they don't fix things like a broken step, or doors that aren't square letting air out & in, along with flies & spiders. People working here are nice, but the company, Mason Properties, is uncaring & greedy. There is no place to recycle either. I have lived here for 10 years & can't wait to get out."
"The apartment itself isn’t awful considering what you’re paying, but having to deal with Mason Properties is not worth it. I was told when I moved in (in May) that my front door would be fixed as it let in hot air during the summer and cold air during the winter causing cooling and heating bills to be outrageous. It’s now March and it still hasn’t been done. If they do not have a “show unit” you are made to be part of a rotating group of units that are shown when needed (and rudely asked to do so less than 12 hours beforehand). Out of the last 4 showings that have been done at my apartment, 3 times they have left all of my lights on after they’ve left. Furthermore, and almost more irritating, is the rental office on site is never open."

"When signing the lease at James Court through Mason Properties I was told all of the units were remodeled like the show unit. Then after signing the lease expecting a remodeled apartment at the walk through I discovered we were lied to. The apartment had old appliances, very old cabinets, a stove that was broken, a water heater under the sink the makes the entire house hot, old carpet, and a piece of plastic covering the fuse box. After stating my concern and trying to work something out i was told nothing could be done at all. I planned on resigning after the lease was up but not after being lied to like this"
