"Shabby. Rusty microwave, no egress from bedroom (code violation?), range burners don't work, old furniture."

"We went there in April of 2021. The rooms were all very clean. Since it was during Covid our check in was alittle different and there wasnt to many people staying there at the time. They give you a packet of places to go and see with coupons. Also that has the code on it for the gate to let you walk onto the beach from the parking lot. At the time the hot tub was down and closed off. The pool was still nice to swim in tho. I had a great time there. They had cleaning people come clean the pool and other areas on the regular. I would stay there again."

"Booked with RCI. They should be ashamed to have this old Holiday Inn motel on their list. 3rd floor room with no elevator. Very small appliances. Stove didn't work and one element was sparking. Phone didn't work. Cable wiring horrible. They moved us next door, from a 1 bedroom Queen and a pull-out couch to a studio room Queen bed with a pullout love seat (no isolated bedroom & we have an 8 year old). There were a lot of unoccupied rooms and they could ve move us to an equivalent or better room. Instead we were crammed. Hot tub down 5 days out of the 7 we were there. Maintenance worker turned up the pool temp to compensate for no hot tub. Was ok but just not the same as relaxing in a hot tub. And on vacation that's exactly what we should be able to do. The only upsides were that the staff (maintenance guy and his wife, the cleaning lady) were friendly (other than moving us to a smaller room) and because it was so old the "motel" was closer to the beach."

"I will start by saying we stayed there about 2 years ago and it was a great experience. And last week it was a terrible experience. When we checked into the room the bed was not made like website claimed would be. The bathtub had an option to use as a jacuzzi which we tried and when we turned it on black algae or soot was blown out of jet and took 2 hours to clean up in order to just use the shower. The paper the front desk gave us had the day that towel and linen exchange was available but the paper did not say there hours on that day. So we tried to exchange the stuff but was told we were late and it was to late. And this was at 2pm. We were told that check out was at 11am and when our day came to check out the housekeeping lady with the clipboard says that it is 10am and that is after the housecleaning crew entered our unit 3 different times starting at 9:45am without even knocking. The head housekeeping lady said her words and times over ride whatever someone else told us and we had too get out. She was extremely rude. They charged debit card more than we were told the total would be, it took forever to get our deposit back which was for $300 and I guess that was to insure we would not steal the $20 19" TV's. Would not recommend to anyone a beautiful facility but poorly ran. I will say the front desk person and security guard were very nice and helpful. But housekeeping and management are horrible. Have been in this area for 3 years and after our first amazing stay I have been driving by there wondering why is it always empty. Now I can understand why. And i have to add that here in Panama City Beach the hotel industry is flooded with employees from the Caribbean but that is not the case at this place, with the exception of the very nice front desk person all the others and the ones I'm referring to are White American as I am it is embarrassing for me seeing the way this place treats its guests."

"Although the rooms were small and furniture was dated it was clean. Loved having 2 bathrooms and being on ground floor. Beach access was great. Pool was clean and very nice. Staff was helpful and freely gave towels, toilet paper, dish soap etc. Small beachside bar right next door that was lovely."
