"My stay here at this Hathaway inn located in Panama City, FL was TERRIBLE. Front desk • The customer service provided was the total garbage. Room •somewhat Clean, smelled good. Bed • not great. Bathroom •Was clean •Shower head was needing to be changed out, in my opinion, the water stream was so-so and the hot water was hot Breakfast • was told by front desk no breakfast provided WiFi connection • Login was easy. Speeds were not consistent kept going out So, all in all, I give this hotel a 1 out of 5 . Could have been cleaner but it is what it is. See the pictures I took My room was on the first floor."

"The website we booked promised a sofa on top of the beds. We had 5 adults for a quadruple room but there was no sofa so we had to go buy an air mattress. No amenities. Front desk employees do not have any good customer service and no cots or any accommodations. I do not Recommend staying here, especially with a family. Also there is mold in the shower in our room."

"Rooms are not updated. TV was going in and out. Walls are thin, people were loud. Couldn't get front desk to answer from the room and couldn't find anyone when I went down there. Towels are small and they only give you two. No amenities, just all around not satisfied."

"I just want to say for the very low cost The Hathaway Inn is so nice. If you look at the hotel discount pages you can find a rate with taxes and fees below 80.00. It’s view is the Hathaway Bridge going onto Panama City Beach, Fl in the front but I believe the back of the hotel is facing the water. They have a nice pool that I saw. They don’t have coffee makers in the room but they do have a little refrigerator and microwave. They have snack machines and soda machines with sodas, Powerade, and water. Breakfast is not served but nor is the fee of an extra 66.00 for 2 person breakfast at other hotels. They do have ironing boards and irons in each room. The satellite tv is played on an average size screen. A dresser, desk with a nice chair, and two places at each side of the bed to hold things. There is a nice sink just out of the toilet/shower room but no tub. That shower has a slip resistant bottom and a handicap bar if needed. It looks brand new and the water can get SCALDING and you can take a long shower without worrying about running out of hot water. There is a place to hang your clothes that has a shelf on top. There is a nice room darkening shade in the room. The air conditioning will freeze you out on low with the temperature in the halfway position. Bed is super comfortable and though the room is about 300sq. Ft. It is super clean and nice. The front desk staff is very nice and accommodating. You couldn’t ask for nicer people and that is throughout the hotel. The housekeepers are super good and nice. They quickly get finished but will speak to you nicely and get what you need. If you forget to ask for something they ask if you need it. It’s like being at your sweet grandma’s for a visit. I’m in a wheelchair and she was super nice to me. It was very quiet last night and today. Their rules do not allow loud noise and they will put you out after a warning. I could have heard a pin drop last night and today as well except you could hear people moving out of their room around 11 am today, which is checkout time. No pets allowed other than service dogs. So if you’re coming to what is called the World’s Most Beautiful Beaches, stay here. It’s about 10 minutes away and 100 dollars or more cheaper. There is a refundable 50.00 deposit but that is low compared to others. You get that back if you haven’t trashed the room or property."
