"You need to call for a reservation! It is so worth planning ahead. They have hats you can borrow, but we showed up in our tastes and styles. So fun! You get your own teapot, so share! The pastry, sandwiches and dessert were all delicious. They're so wonderful. Don't forget the gift shop! You can buy tea!"
"Amazing, beautiful, and affordable. It only takes 30 minutes to walk the entire castle. Absolutely worth the stop. Margaret was Absolutely amazing!!"
"Gorgeous historical site. Visiting this museum takes you back to the original time period (1895). Very beautifully designed and maintained, everything in this museum demonstrated the care in preserving the authenticity of the time period. Given the chance, I would highly suggest having High Tea in the Queens Parlor—very unique experience that will not disappoint. The food is delicious, the tea is impeccable and the service was beautiful and authentic. Would definitely visit again, overall a beautiful timepiece that displays history in an interactive, informative and awe inspiring kind of way."
"The High Tea was a great experience! I thought it was a little pricy at first ($45 / person), but the food and tea were delicious, the servers were attentive, and the atmosphere was delightful. My wife and I were quite pleased and contented with our experience. The tour of the castle was not included with High Tea package and that was an extra $14 / person. If you’re used to seeing European castles, this was a bit lackluster. Just as the architecture of the castle is all over the place, so were the exhibits. One room had the Nuremberg trials, while another was a firefighter exhibit, and yet another was the living quarters of the former inhabitants. It just wasn’t clear what the connection was among them. Still, it was a neat place to visit. There was no guide, but there were lots of informative signs and displays. Outside, the grounds were verdant and peaceful with benches and fountains. With the balmy weather, it was a pleasant experience. Overall, this was a great place to visit and one of Colorado Springs’ hidden gems."
"A meticulously renovated castle with many cool sites and interesting stories. One of my favorites was the locked away originals wallpaper which contains arsenic! The visit is affordable and offers a fun way to spend some leisure time in this beautiful town. They also have cute tea parties if you call and reserve ahead."
