"Had an excellent time learning about the Avery family history from Deb, a retired teacher, who was just wonderful. A gem of a spot to visit on any quiet weekend day!"

"Really nice local museum. Cheap, fun thing to do in Fort Collins. The guides are dressed up in old garments and really have a passion for their work"

"This is a fantastic place to get a short history lesson on Fort Collins. The house gives tours during the middle of the day that last about 45 minutes. You walk around to all the rooms in the house and get context of how they relate to Fort Collins at the time."

"Really a beautiful house tour - very well preserved and maintained. I'm not sure I got the tour I preferred - I would have loved to hear more about the history and architecture, but there was a kid in our party and a lot of the tour ended up being geared toward her, which was also fun. So, go multiple times! You may get a different tour depending on your guide. Within easy walking distance of downtown & the historic parts."
