"First of all, my name is not Michael. Secondly, I came to your office to personally drop off keys and a garage door opener for a unit we had rented. Whoever was on the receiving end of the speaker outside the door was very unprofessional in their response, with a hateful attitude and remark. I wish I would have asked their name. I spent my time and efforts doing something to help them, and then got treated like it was a real pain for her to even answer me on the outside speaker. That WAS the only interaction we ever had. I know things have changed a lot, but I have always try to show respect and to try to treat others the way I would like to be treated. Whoever this was doesn’t follow this thought process, or they just literally found me to be a pain. I have gotten blasted before by someone who didn’t patronize our business, but this was an actual interaction I had with brick & mortar, which was not very pleasant. I didn’t ask for the bad attitude, was kind and professional in my attempt to return these items. It wasn’t like I was asking brick & mortar to do anything special for me, but I guarantee you I wouldn’t have brought these things to your office if I’d known the outcome beforehand. That’s all. Sorry to whoever the lady was that was so bothered by my visit."
"Dealt with 7 months of no ac or heat. They would come to repair it and get it working for a hour then leave and it break down again, they had to of been in my unit approximately 30 times and they decided to attempt to sell the house that is mold filled and the whole basement filled with water. They know all this instead tried to hide it. I had a extreme heat stroke and was unable to live in my unit for months due to there negligence. I should of put all the rent money In a escrow and made them wait for payment till the problem was solved. The lady in the office even tried to make me feel bad that there heat was out. They don't have pets in there unit and probably dealt with it for a day or 2 not 7 months..... beyond awful company I'd never deal with them again. Oh yeah and the guy that posts there units can get bent. I have proof he promised $100 If I made my place look nice and use my furnishings for a picture so they could upload it. Never received that money when asked just got laughed at and he said I'd like to see you try to get it....."

"I have had a wonderful tenant experience with brick and mortar, especially during this past week’s winter storms. They were highly communicative, sending weather alerts with instructions and tips to keep our pipes from freezing and bursting and our major appliances from shutting down due to strain. I did not have any issues with my pipes or appliances during the storm, and I attribute that to the Brick and Mortar team. Maintenance is mostly timely and very friendly. Any issue I’ve had, Katherine has been very responsive."
