"Long lines at the Pharmacy window are a common occurrence. Since window started opening later, closing for lunch and closing earlier at the end of the day, customers now spend more of their time picking up their Rx orders. Management might see some benefits of keeping the window closed more but customers are paying the price."
"They allow doctors to leave voicemails on the prescription line but don’t actually record them, so they simply don’t receive your prescription and no one tells you or your doctor. Had to go the ER after waiting an hour in the cvs line just to be told their prescription phone line is fake, and it was too late to get my medicine elsewhere. Insanely irresponsible and dangerous. Nothing like having your throat slowly swell shut in a crowded cvs with a bunch of angry customers who were given the wrong prescriptions yelling and bad music blaring. After years of terrible service at cvs pharmacies across the country, this was my breaking point. Aside from simple inconvenience and wasting time, I’ve had too many actual medical consequences from their various failings. Update: finally got my prescription from them later, and it was missing 20% of the pills!!"
"Changing pharmacies at this CVS does not even pick up the phone at pharmacy anymore. I have left several voice messages as requested on their vm and they have not called back. Their customer service has deteriorated completely in only 2 months since the last time I was there. My next step is to complain with the state as they are withholding meds and ignoring patient calls"
"(Pharmacy only) I was dealing with a male (possibly manager) who showed very poor manners during my visit. I was clearly unwell but he didn't take the time to finish our conversation, walking off in the middle of it before I could confirm what was going on. He was more concerned with the pharmacy closing in a few minutes rather than explaining to me where my prescription of antibiotics was (it was somehow at a nearby pharmacy instead). It shows a lack of basic care for people in general which at a place like a pharmacy is concerning. A poor experience compared to my visit to CVS Pharmacy at east 86th and 2nd ave"
"Been shopping here for many YEARS. 87th and Lexington Avenue. On May 10th 2024, I entered this establishment and was made to feel like a common criminal. Upon entering, a manager appeared from behind a Pillar. She, another employee and their security guy surrounded me asking me what I was there for. After I told them, she had the security man ESCORT ME to where what I was seeking was. He told me to go to the other CVS on 86th street and 2nd Ave. I'm 64 years old. Of course 'other' customers weren't subjected to this treatment. Just me. I work way to hard to throw my money into a place that practices these 'tactics'. I'll be filing a formal complaint with their headquarters to let them know of this stores practices."
