"Worst dental experience of my life. Waited almost 2 hours to see the dentist only to wait another 20mins in the chair and listen to drama outside with other patients. Avoid this place at all costs. I came in for gum specialist to be told that they could fix a few old fillings “quickly.” I declined and left immediately. Should have left after waiting the first hour. Wasted my time."
"I had the worse experience at this place. I went in for a consultation to find out how much it will cost me to have a tooth removed as well as get a break down on him much the procedure will cost. I also wanted to find out how much other procedures will cost if I had insurance. After waiting close to an hour and a half to be seen I noticed all the dentist just huddle up in one room and hang out while patients are waiting to be seen. Finally a dentist walked into my room ( his name is PAVEL NIDERMAN) I explained to him I was here for a consultation and he said he can’t do anything without getting a x-ray done. He wanted me to spend $100 just to get an x-Ray. Mind you I was there just for one tooth and I already knew I needed to get the tooth pulled. So I decided just to get the x-Ray done on just that one tooth which costed me $25. His assistant came in to do the x-ray. When she sat next to me all she could say was that she hates it their and all the doctors talk down to her like if she doesn’t know what she is doing. Mind you she’s been doing her job for over 18 years but they still treat her like a student. After the x-ray was done the dentist (PAVEL NIDERMAN License number 044976) came back into the room, looked at the x-ray and said you need to get the tooth pulled and for me to come back when I have insurance. He never gave me a break down on how much it will cost or even gave me any ideas on which dental plans would work best for me. I went there for a consultation and didn’t get any information on what would be best in regards to dental plans and payments. PAVEL NIDERMAN seemed to be very lazy at his job and doesn’t talk much. Before leaving the office I confronted him and told him I was there for a consultation and all he did was tell me I needed a tooth pulled and for me to come back when I have insurance. He then started laughing in my face as if me trying to find out more information was a joke to him. Only good I can say about this place is that the receptionist does an amazing job on trying to make sure the dentist are doing their job. Also, she’s pretty cute. So I want to give her a shout out as well as the nurse who took my x-rays. I didn’t get her name. But she’s the only Indian lady that works there and she is such a sweet heart and I hope she leaves that place and goes somewhere else where they will appreciate her more for the work she does. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. But if you do decide to go, please tell the receptionist you do not want to be seen by PAVEL NIDERMAN LICENSE NUMBER 044976."
"Unfortunately I haven't had the best experience at this dentist office. Wait time is horrific spent literally over five hours for a procedure that took less than thirty minutes. I don't like the fact that some of the dentist don't wear masks, and like to have conversations with their staff while working, and it's not job related. Also they should be more mindful when doing teeth cleaning, for it was more painful than having a tooth pulled."
"Poor service. Everytime I come to this dentist to get one thing done I end up spending three to five hours here. They have multiple dental assistants but don't have enough dentists to match. The dentist's will start to work on you then will leave you in your seat to start working on someone else. That's extremely unprofessional in my opinion. When I was getting my root canal done the dentist left me in my seat mud procedure with a bleeding gum, to start working on someone else. I kid you not, I spent roughly five hours at the dentist for one job. Including waiting in the lobby for an hour, my appointment being at 9 which I was on time for and not being sent until ten, then leaving around one thirty. I'm never coming back here again. I feel as though they take advantage of the black/brown community in East Harlem for profit."
