"Customer service from this management company definitely isn’t what it was when I lived here several years ago. I suppose it could change again. One employee claimed my auto pay had stopped somehow, while the website and another employee said it was still going. I got charged a fee for not paying on time, even though the money was in my account. I think the guy whose name started with a J who mansplained everything (other female residents have complained about him to me, too) stopped working there, so that’s nice."
"AVOID THIS COMPLEX AT ALL COSTS. The managment is AWFUL. They are impossible to get ahold of and get things done. They are withholding deposits and prepaid rent, several hundreds of dollars that is owed AFTER DAMAGES WERE TAKEN OFF. They refuse to work with locators and housing advisors because 'they're not on the lease' even when management is given express permission to give them any information. Utah State code 57-17-3 states they must return all owed deposits and prepaid rent within 30 days of the end of tenancy. It has been over 2 months at this point and they still haven't cut a check. We shouldn't have to take to the courts to get a couple hundred dollars back but that is what you have to do. Redstone Management is full of awful scumbags that only wish to rob college students. Edit: it took 2 months and emailing the companies higher ups to be able to get the deposit check back."
"I lived here for a year, because it’s so cheap. I fully expected an old rather run down apartment because of the price. But didn’t realize I’d also be paying for management that literally refuses to work with you. I fully expected to lose my deposits for “cleaning fees” as that’s the way Provo housing works. But I spent time and money trying to pass the white glove. I literally took a razor blade and steel wool to the oven to get it look brand new. (It was quite impressive, I didn’t know an 80s oven could look that good) but I still failed for a “dirty mirror” but you know it’s gonna take $55 to get that mirror shiny again. When I questioned them to why I failed, they hung up on me, so naturally I emailed them. And they claimed I was yelling at them and refusing to be helped. When I gave them three options to help me, 1. Show me pictures of my dirty mirror and then when it’s clean so I know the new girl had a clean mirror. 2. Produce a receipt for the cleaning supplies and/or cleaning service. Or 3. Apologize for treating me awful and give me my money back. Instead I got no reply. They literally refuse to work with me. When I moved in there was random boxes of trash all over, food still in the fridge. Just disgusting. So you know they don’t actually clean with the money they take. When I told them about the filthy apartment, they asked if I took pictures, and because I hadn’t that couldn’t help me. I suggest taking pictures when you move in, and when you move out. Also film yourself washing the mirror. It could be helpful :) They also over charged me for a gas utility and refused to take responsibility, they blamed it on the gas company and never apologized for that encounter either. They also charged me last months rent twice, and it took the residents complaining to fix it. Management is a joke. Also they have too many residents and not enough parking spaces. So your not guaranteed a spot. If your home after midnight, good luck. It’s not really worth the cheap price if you ask me."
"Lived here 2 years. Lowest prices I’ve found in Provo. Never really had any problems with management. The maintenance is fairly responsive. Needs more storage space. Parking is pretty good"
"I loved this apartment complex. It’s definitely one of the best places to live on campus. Although older, it has an amazing and spacious set up. I loved how the kitchen opened into the living room, and there is a giant window for a lot of natural light to be let in most of the day. (You’ll have trouble finding that anywhere else!) If you keep it clean and decorate it a little, this place has such a cozy feel to it. I had very pleasant relationships with the girls both in my apartment and outside of it for two years. It just attracts very amenable people. The bus also stops literally right in front of the apartment. Parkings meh as with every place in Provo but it’s cheap by their first come first policy. With the bus right to campus, I barely drove unless I was getting groceries. Even then, people carpooled. This is the first place I recommend to incoming or transferring college students."
